I rarely leave reviews, but I thought I'd better affirm the fit of this cover for the 450. I had much frustration looking for framed tonneau covers for F-450s (all have 8-foot bed) on Amazon, with no answers from sellers regarding fit for the 450. A web search on Ford forums as well as Ford sites did not illuminate as to any differences between the bed or rail size/shape for the 250/350 versus 450. So I took a chance and ordered this cover, mentioned as fit for the 250/350. The first cover was unfortunately stolen as it was delivered, so I ordered a second one from the same seller. As I had installed a similar unit for my short-bed F-150, the installation was easy and took 10 minutes. It was a perfect fit. Despite the slightly longer panels, it was no less sturdy than the 6.5 foot cover. Other than the front bulkhead firmer foam strip, I chose not to install the rest of the spongy foam seals. It did not affect water leakage, even in car washes. So far so good.

Installation was easy and took about an hour. It fit my 8 ft bed perfectly. The box has two pieces of weatherstripping; one thick and one thin. Not sure which one was for the front of the bed as the instructions don't specify, so I used the thick one. I suppose the thin one is for the tailgate. The material seems well made and is thicker than I expected. My only negative is the rear clamps are plastic and don't latch down and click securely. I wired them to my tie down anchors to keep them from unlatching. We'll see how it does in the Texas weather.

I’ve owned two trifolds and this one for the price is a great value. My first trifold lasted over 10 years and is still on my Ford F150 this one I installed on my F250 just as a secondary cover I can transport with me when I use my truck bed camper. The hardware is top quality, and the fit is watertight and very secure on the bed. We’ll see how long it last but I’m very impressed with my purchase and overall construction and quality of this tri-fold cover.

We really do like the cover it was very easy to install. Couple small things the cover chips up in the corners a little bit, but I think if it sits in the sun a little bit longer, it will settle down. Never received the light that they said, comes with it and I left the message for them and the return answer was nothing to do with the missing light they talked about returns. I probably would not buy it again and buy a different one, but I have it on. I’m not gonna change anything. Make up your mind if you want this .

This fits our truck great. Has a 98% water resistance. It does get in a bit on the corners but not enough to damage or wet anything inside.
