I like this, but I think it has some limitations that should have been better disclosed. Pros: - Flat/Low Profile - Looks good - Installs quite quickly (30 min) - I like the spring clips - Has hand pulls on both sides of every panel to lift up. - Good value for the price Cons: - First panel is bolted down and doesn't fold up (I wanted the quad panel and have it hinge up so it didn't cover the camera vs the tri-panel) - Mounts to the bed rail and renders the OEM bedrail cleats useless because it interferes with the hand crank. Requires aftermarket mini bed rail hooks or permanent cleats with a t-nut. - Instructions are terrible - Really needs a 3.5 to 4.0mm spacer between the clips and the bed rail. What I wish it did: - Wish I could still use the bed rail with the OEM cleats - Wish the front panel folded up instead of being bolted down (it is hand-tightened, so it could easily be removed). The front bed rail is right there that it could have clamped to instead (with a hinge). - Wish the kit included a 4mm spacer (see image of 3D printed black spacer) - Wish the kit had some 90-degree barbed fittings for the drain tubes or that the drain tubes fit in the factory-drilled drain holes in the bed - Included are two insulation strips: 1) thin, sticky adhesive, 2) foam tape adhesive. The instructions should have explained which one to use, and where. I used neither, but may add the foam adhesive to the top of the front bed rail.

I’ll first say that I don’t think this will be as waterproof as the commercials say. There’s is a small gap at the front corners. Barely enough to see, but it’s there. Every video I watched says a 15 minute install. Ha! Took me about an hour to get everything lined up good. Not too bad though. It’s not difficult at all, just takes a little tile to get it just right. Overall, it’s a really nice cover and quality seems very good. I really like the single side latch that opens both sides and the fact that it is 4-fold, not 3. This makes it smaller at the front when folded. Tailgate needed some molding into the weatherstripping to close properly. I have a power tailgate on my Tacoma and after it sat overnight, it molded into the tailgate. At first install, the tailgate needed help to close all the way. I can’t speak to longevity, but appearance and fitment are definitely good quality. I’m happy with it and I’m pretty picky about stuff like this. I would recommend it.

Looks good and installs relatively easily. But get a second pair of hands. Really sturdy and well built, but it does have a few leaks to chase down at all four corners. They provide a roll of black caulking tape so I'm hoping that will get things fully leak-proof. Also, the tubing is too big for the holes in the Tacoma bed, so you'll have to either drill it out a little (not much) or figure out a smaller tubing situation.

Instructions are ok but missing some important parts. The 3 hard rubber blocks on each side rail must be removed before installation. They will block the weather strip from sealing against the bed. Additionally, this will prevent the two long front bolts from aligning with their slots. Be careful when installing the two long front bolts because it's extremely easy to tear the rubber seal that's next to it. You do have to use a 1/2" drill bit to widen the drain holes in the bed for the drain hoses. Otherwise, it's not bad for the price.
