Haven't used this camping yet, but it's a powerful little fan. Not sure about the battery life. I'd buy it again though, even to use around the house.

Just spent a week in a tent in the Adirondacks. High heat and humidity. This little fan kept me cool until the temps dropped and I was able to sleep comfortably. I only used it for an hour or two each night and did not have to recharge it. Did not use the light feature but tested it and it was really bright in the tent, I used a separate light so I could keep the fan by my head. I didnt have any problems charging it prior to the trip. I know somebody had theirs melt while charging. Maybe they exceeded the input amperage? I don't know. THis worked great for me.

We bought two to use in my car until my a/c gets fixed. The lights on them came in handy while night swimming in a pool that didn't have any pool light or landscape lighting. We hung them from two separate spots to shine on the pool. They worked great!

I bought this light/fan to use for the summer back in March and barely tested it out for a couple minutes. It’s now June (more hot days) & it’s not working! I go to charge it and it’s not charging. Its appearance is nice and compact but thats all i can say. Was not really able to test the quality of this product.

Great features, good airflow, and has a bright light but the battery life is far from what the manufacturer states! Freshly charged it only lasts 23 hours with the fan on low, which is hours less than claimed!
