Exactly What I Needed For Burley Cub and Disk Brakes. I have a Cannondale F8 bike with disk brakes and the hitch connection of the universal style hitch of the older 2004- 2006 Burley Cub Trailer wouldn't clear the rotor. This coupler/ adapter works perfect and is exactly what I wanted. It mounted easily on my quick release through axel bike and this one provided perfect and easy to attach offset. Included pin is great and love saving money over the Burley one, (roughly $20) vs roughly $10 for this one. It allows a simpler, quick, and clean connection. Trailer attaches and pulls excellent with no coupler movement, (I snugged it down as you should and haven't had any movement or rotation as some reviewers complained about). Nice uniform finish and very beefy. This is my only drawback at this point. Its a bit heavy. Tested on a multi- terrain 6 mile trip with 50lb load so far. Sturdy and functional. My big complaint is that its very slightly smaller than the original. It’s very snug fitting and difficult to get the rubber connector into this adapter. As a result, when you’re riding it squeaks like crazy. The burley branded one that came with my trailer doesn’t do this. If they made this thing a few mm bigger I think it would be perfect. If you’re okay with a nuisance squeaking sound, buy this and save some money! ... show more

We bought a Burley Bee bike trailer for my toddler on the secondary market. It didn't come with this bracket that installs on the bike, but these were pretty inexpensive so I bought one to try it out. It went on in less than 2 minutes, thanks for the ease of new bike tires that use the l handle lock instead of bolts/nuts. Our second-hand Burley bike trailer came with the traditional hitch (a larger assembly, kind of triangle shaped) which sits inside the frame of the bike. My new bike wouldn't accommodate that style hitch, so we bought this item. Works like a charm, solid connection and much easier to attach/detach than the original hitch. Great item and good value. Perfectly similar to the burley version, I got this for a second bike and have the oem version on the other. Same fit, same quality. Is it is strong? Mine didn’t break but enough safety straps to where I was ok testing. So far I recommend. Other brands looked way cheaper, this looked original. Well made and so far so good. ... show more

Works great on the rear quick release skewer on my Trek full suspension bike. The cheap "universal" adaptor that came with the trailer had no chance of fitting my frame. I was thrilled to find that these exist and they don’t cost a fortune! I recently bought a burley cargo trailer from someone on craigslist and the trailer had been in a crash and this part of the trailer had broken off. They thought it would cost a lot to get a replacement hitch, but this piece only cost $10 to replace and did the job perfectly! I now have a functioning burley at a tenth the price!
