I got this for my mother to replace the older style she has in her home right now. We're not completely sold on setting up a fan in that area as it's meant to be a dining room, but the style of fan of you have previously it's just too bulky and Out of Touch. This one is more compact and elegant in my opinion. It is easy to install and does not weigh as much as I thought it would. Not to say that this feels cheap or anything like that. It would ideally work in a smaller room, acting more is the centerpiece for the room or at least compliment the rest of the area. It can be set up in dining rooms or kitchens, but is not limited to only those rooms and would also look good in a guest bathroom or Den. ... show more

This chandelier came in a thousand pieces. Most of them cracked or chipped. The finish on the metal was like a dry brush paint job. I had to repaint all the metal parts but once i started putting it together idealized the glass parts were broken. So now I have a fixture I can't even return. Do not recommend this light fixture at all! After the first one having broken pieces I requested a replacement to have installed and the crystals continue to fall at random times breaking when they hit the floor or bathtub. The tiny wires that hold the crystals on give way and fall. Would really like a refund! ... show more

I had high hopes by the picture, but you really get what you pay for. The crystals come in a poorly packed pile in a bag. After pulling the first strand out it is obviously chipped and is very poor quality and would take a long assembly. The metal rings are thin and look like they are about to fall apart. ... show more

Don't waste your time on this product like I did. It's beautiful, but impossible to install. There's simply not enough clearance at the top to get your hand in to put the screw in. It's poorly constructed. I'm a woman with small hands btw. I wasted hours trying to install this. I'm returning it.
