I was skeptical that this pillow could do much for me. I have a lot of spine instability and general chronic pain and I wasn't sure that a pillow was gonna do much to bring any relief. But I also knew the flat pillow I was using was causing me extra pain in my shoulder and neck so I decided it was worth trying something new. There was a factory smell on the pillowcases that was unpleasant (though not insanely strong or nauseating) so I had to wash them before I was able to use the pillow and was very pleased that I only needed to wash them once because that's not always a given. And holy crap, there was a noticeable difference in the morning on the first night of use. I'm obviously still in pain but that's just the cost of chronic pain. But my neck and shoulder don't hurt any more when I sleep on my side (and also when I am lying awake at 3am and reading while on my side for hours in a row because I can't sleep!) It also gets bonus points for the fact that the higher "walls" of the pillow aren't so high that it catches the air-stream from my CPAP and make a bunch of hissing noise (which was also a huge annoyance with my old pillow. I'm very noise-sensitive and it drove me insane! I'm sure that's not an often thought about problem, and that there's other better reasons for the pillows design, but for me it made a huge difference and I'm very thankful for it.) ... show more

I have Cervical Stenosis (discs 4, 5, 6) and will be having surgery next month. I was apprehensive about buying this pillow because of the cost and because I’ve tried many others that hurt or weren’t comfortable. It turned out to be an awesome pillow! It takes a little while but it becomes incredibly soft and I don’t wake up stiff and tweaked in the morning. I wish I had known about this pillow sooner! ... show more

I bought this pillow 8 months ago because I was looking for something to help with neck pain and headaches that I had regularly when I would wake up in the morning. This pillow has been a life saver. It is so comfortable whether sleeping on my side or my back. It cradles my head and neck and I rarely, if ever, wake up with neck pain and headaches anymore. I love the memory foam. It doesn't lose it's shape, doesn't flatten out, but is so soft to lay on. I would buy it again. ... show more

    • Most Comfortable Pillow I Have Ever Tried

I have multiple chronic pain health conditions, including Rheumatoid Arthritis and Fibromyalgia. My pain levels when I wake up every day are pretty day. But it had gotten to a nearly unbearable point, and I decided to try a new pillow. I've tried numerous pillows in the past looking for relief, but nothing really helped. After reading reviews, I took a chance on this one. I'm completely in love. It is THE most comfortable pillow I have ever tried, and my pain levels when I wake up are the lowest they've been in years. It took a little creativity to find what works best for me. The pillow on its own is too low for me, so I have another pillow under it. I also requested an extra insert by scanning the QR code they provide with the pillow (and which I received only a few days after I requested it), but putting the foam insert in the pillowcase, with the pillow was uncomfortable. I found that it filled in the head cradling area too much, and I woke up with some extra pain a few mornings. So I just took it out, and put it UNDER the pillow, on top of the second pillow, and it works perfectly. The area that cradles your head is so comfortable. I wear a Fitbit, and I even found that my deep and REM sleep levels increased after I started using it. I've had it for a few weeks now, and it hasn't shown any signs of wear. Everyone is different, but I'd definitely say that this pillow is worth trying. And the price is good, too! I looked at other similar pillows that were more expensive, but so far, I do not feel like I wish I had spent the extra $$ on one of those. This one works really well! I was waking up with horrible neck pain and stiffness daily. I think it started when I changed jobs and ended up doing a lot more computer work. This pillow is magical! My neck pain disappeared within 1 week of using this pillow and it has not returned! I highly recommend this product

    • didn’t help me with my neck pain
a couple weeks ago i had the worst stiff neck ever, it was extremely painful to turn my neck. decided to try this out thinking i need a new pillow but i still wake up with a stiff neck from this. only rated 4 stars because i know this has helped others, just wasn’t for me.
