Fit as expected, dropping right in place on my pre crossbolt safety Marlin 336. Was pleasantly surprised that I can still just see the factory buckhorns without any optics/mounts installed. 100 percent satisfied especially at the 13 dollar price point.

Good results with a 1895 in 45-70. The supplied screws are a bit shorter than others. I’d prefer to have another thread but with four it seems solid enough.

  • Marlin 336 in 30-30 and Henry H010G in 45-70 - need I say more?
Style Name: 0 MOA
BTW, Henry is basically a Marlin pattern gun, so this rail was a perfect fit for me. I had my doubts about Monstrum, and I still do, but I'm a "try it once" kinda guy. I have a couple of hundred rounds through my Henry 45-70, mostly the Leverevolution 325gr, which are no slouch, but also a few Underwood +P spicy rounds. We're talking more recoil than a 30-06 and when shooting from the bench, I was crying out "OUCH" after each shot, without being dramatic. Had a bruise on my shoulder after each session. It's definitely not a bench caliber :) I have a Vortex Crossfire II 3-9X50 STRAIGHT-WALL BDC on it, a chunky 18 oz. scope, so not just a mere red dot. Marlin has a more reasonable 2-7x32. Both have held zero just fine. Definitely recommend using a torque wrench and use the proper torque settings. These settings are not subjective from the manufacturers, they are an industry standard for fastening specific materials, i.e. steel to steel, aluminum to steel, aluminum to aluminum - each have their own proper torque. I read the negative reviews carefully and I guess I do believe an occasional lemon or wrong item sent, but some of those also seem like people who are better off going to a gunsmith. 6061 aluminum alloy is plenty strong, most scope rings and mounts are made from it, even some AR lowers and uppers, including the integrated rails on them. I will definitely update if I run into any issues but so far no regrets. UPDATE: one small issue is that if you try to mount an LPVO on your lever action, this rail might be a tad short. With rings mounted at opposite ends, I still had to have the front ring be 1/8" away from the turrets. Not ideal. The Henry EGW rail might be a better choice for that, it has an extra slot or two extending over the barrel beyond the receiver, which would just be perfect. ... show more

  • Fits perfectly

I have always wanted to attach sight to my lever action. The rail worked perfectly. Once I get out to the range I'll see if the rail stays tight.

  • Perfect

Wasn’t sure if this would work as intended but it’s perfect fit for my long gun and scope. The finish is nice and the screws included are clean makes attaching this to my long gun easy.

  • Solves the Rail Angle Issue on Remington-made Marlin .30-30 rifle.
Style Name: 20 MOA
My son got a beautiful stainless steel Marlin Model 336 .30-30 lever-action rifle with all the bells and whistles. This one was from late in the time that Remington was making them. And it came with a Leupold scope. The Marlin build quality appeared to be equal to my older JM-made Marline 336, but no matter what my son did, he could not align the scope with the rifle. We tried different mounts, including Leupold brand mounts. And we even went from a weaver rail to a Leopold-brand Picatinny rail. Nothing worked. So I started searching online for a rail that was canted from the factory. And low and behold, we found that Monstrum was selling them here on Amazon. Based on our measurements, this 20 MOA rail should work. And it did, perfectly. That nice Leupold scope is now zeroed in a ready to go! ... show more
