These lights are bright- and very easy to install. The only thing I didn’t care for is that the entire light needs to be replaced. No spot to change the bulb only.

I purchased two of these to replace a chandelier and a mid century modern/industrial light in the kitchen. We have a small eat in kitchen, and the previous owner wanted the chandelier over their table. The ceiling is low, so I would bang my head on it all the time. We redid the kitchen and the new cabinets left no room for a hanging light. That is a large part of why I chose these. They are nearly flush with the ceiling, being about an inch thick. The install was very easy. After making sure the electrics were off for the lights, I removed the old ones, and the metal retaining bracket. I attached the plastic mounting ring straight to the electric light box. This light comes with an easy connector and wire nuts, I chose to use the later. Black to black, white to white, tuck them into the electric box, and attach the light. It goes on like a smoke detector, and is very sturdy. When I flipped the switch on the wall, and man these are bright. I am very happy with the whole process. Being LED, they will save on power, and last forever. I would highly recommend this light, it was so easy to install, looks so good and illuminates the kitchen well. I could not be happier. ... show more
