This is a good kayak paddle used it for about 2 hrs the other day and it felt pretty good. Like one reviewer said you might want to put some electrical tape on the handle to make it stiffer cause it does have a slight play when you put it together. Didn’t notice that the measurement guide on it to be a problem. It is able to be feathered to left or right or neutral. And it comes with paddle leash. Very happy with my paddle!!

I bought this after realizing I'd absent-mindedly left a $200-plus carbon fiber shaft paddle at a fishing spot. I had a feeling I'd get it back so I didn't want to splurge on another expensive paddle so I poked around and found this one for under 40 bucks shipped. My expectations were low but -- This is a really nicely made paddle. The blades seem sturdy enough and the connection between the two halves is rock-solid. No movement whatsoever, at least thus far. I probably have about ten hours of paddle time in. How it will hold up over seasons is unknown, but it really seems well thought out and made. I don't use a paddle leash but re-purposed it for a tool, so that's a nice bonus. Some reviewers commented on the texture of the shaft related to the engraved numbers and I'd say that's not a concern. If anything it makes the paddle easier to hold. Yes it's heavier than my carbon paddle but honestly it stays put in my lap better when I'm using my hands to fish. I really can't tell any difference in shaft rigidity. Highly recommended!

Bought it on sale to have a spare. Used it couple of times. It is a bit heavier than my other carbon shaft paddle, but I can’t tell the difference when actually paddling. I added a layer of electric tape to the joint as it was a bit loose out of the box.

First paddle for me, so I do not have much experience to write a thorough review. Feels solid and works great. Locking pin came off and dropped into the water at the first try, but Sam from Customer Service responded promptly and took care of it. What a great service! Definitely buying again in the near future for my daughter.

great paddles...comfortable and the fishing line notch is a nice touch...i don't understand why some people complained about the weight...they aren't carbon fiber, but,they are lighter than some of the paddles out there...and you absolutely can't beat the price!

It's an inexpensive kayak paddle and for the money it's great. I love that it comes with a leash. More expensive paddles might be stiffer and lighter but can cost 10 times more than this one.

Recently bought Decathalon Itiwit x100 inflatable kayaks (which are amazing and I highly recommend!) and wanted longer paddles than Decathalon offered so we tried 2 of these. I wanted carbon fiber because I was worried my lack of upper arm strength would have me stuck in the middle of a lake unable to paddle myself back to shore, but I didn't want to pay that much so I took my chances. Luckily these felt plenty light even after 4 hours paddling around a lake. I used some silicone grips and had no hand/blister issues. The leash provided was perfect. Time will tell how well they last but for the price I have zero complaints.

I bought this kayak paddle to use for my stand-up paddle board which I prefer sitting on. It's a game changer. I bought the longest shaft available, and it has worked well. I am 6 feet tall and my paddle board is 34 inches wide. This long paddle allows for a comfortable low angle stroke without hitting the sides of my board or dripping too much water from the elevated end. I used it daily for an entire summer and it held up well. The feather angle is comfortable and the shaft stays rigid where the two halves meet. The plastic blades are holding up well, and the whole apparatus floats. Very happy with the paddle, and would definitely purchase it again.
