This was easy to assemble and install. I only got one to put at the head of my 9 year olds twin bed so his pillow wouldn’t fall off. It works great for that. But I can speak to how it would work for a smaller child or as a side rail. It is completely solid so if a child got pushed up against it they wouldn’t be able to breathe. We don't use this as a side rail for a child but rather at the end of the bed with the sheets/comforter drapes over it to create a pocket of room to keep the weight and pressure off of our feet. It looks better on our bed than the mesh bed rails. It was fairly easy to install. The only thing I didn’t like was it had to be drilled into our bed and because we have a bed that you can move the top or bottom up and down, we were afraid we would hit some wires but we like the way that it looks.

I purchased 6 of these padded bed rails for my mom’s queen bed. She is prone to falls and if you are here to prevent a loved one from falling or getting out of bed you should definitely consider these padded rails. I’ve tried others and these look and work the best. They are study yet remarkably easy to assemble. If purchasing for a child’s bed I would recommend drilling the rails down into the bed frame or bed slats. Screws are provided for this purpose. ... show more

The pillows are great, nice and sturdy and the fabric is very nice. I am missing all the hardware in order to install the pillows. I ordered the 4 pack and got one half loop and two straight bars, nothing else. The only option I have is a return, I don’t want a return I just need the hardware!

Bought it for my camper bunk bed. Fit perfectly! Had issues when I was looking because alot of bunk guards fold down and would have blocked my ladder or were too long. This was literally perfect! Soft yet sturdy and easy to drill in!
