You need to drill these things on the floor if you want them to be able to hold any type of force against them. I was thinking on using one on each side, but ended up moving my kids bed next to the wall, so these can hold tight. Now, these are very functional and fulfil the objective.

We bought this for our sons top bunk in our camping trailer. It works perfectly. Bc you put it together yourself, we had switched which bar the cushion goes on to make it not as tall but it lays under the mattress longer. It works perfectly and he no longer falls out!

I liked the concept of this for my toddler who upgraded to a twin size bed. The one panel isn’t enough which does not make this product worth it because it is overpriced for what you receive.
