Features

  • Automatic egg turner every 90 minutes The OBI-12 turns the eggs fully automatically every 90 minutes. Even heat distribution without manual intervention for a reliably high hatch rate.
  • High-precision temperature and humidity control These egg incubators for hatching eggs provide a temperature accuracy of 0.1C for optimal incubation conditions. The LED display clearly shows temperature and humidity at all times.
  • Integrated incubation lamp for embryo control With the built-in LED candling lamp, embryonic development can be checked without interrupting the incubation process. Check fertilized eggs easily and without interference.
  • Temperature alarm for safe incubation The integrated alarm warns immediately in the event of temperature deviations. This keeps the brood under control at all times also suitable for beginners and families.
  • * : A normal hatch rate is between 55% and 75% but this can vary due to a wide variety of environmental and biological factors. ** : When you unpack the incubator, do not throw away the insulation foam, because you can use this "Eggloo" foam in cold weather, to keep your eggs warm!

  • Excellent incubator
I have run this incubator through 4 batches of chicken eggs non-stop since I purchased it, all with high success rates. The unit is 12 VDC and comes with a 12 VDC to 120 VAC power supply and a 12 VDC battery clip should you want to want to set it up to run from a battery for back up. I like the humidity meter that shows % so that there is no guess work with the humidity of the unit. It will hold about 12 chicken eggs, less if they are large eggs. Mark your eggs with an X on one side and a 0 on the other with a PENCIL (The graphite will not harm the chick) to visually confirm that they are turning, they can get held up if they are touching a wall or other egg. ... show more

  • Small but works
The only problem was it’s a little tough to keep the humidity stable. Add water humidity goes too high. I guess it didn’t matter that much. The temperature stayed perfect. I let the auto turner work and also turned the eggs by hand cause I had 11 duck eggs in it at once. Anyway hatched out 9 of 11 on first try. ... show more

  • A great incubator
The media could not be loaded. I found this incubator is so easy to set up and love all the features, alarm for temp, automatic turning, candling light and easy to add water. The only thing is I felt comfortable doing 8-9 chicken eggs. 1st batch was 9 and second is 7. Ig depending on the size of the egg. My 1st batch, all my eggs that were fertile hatched and still waiting on 2nd batch to hatch. I took out the rollers on day 18 . I recommend this if you have smaller batches to hatch and def worth the 39$ I paid. ... show more

  • Not acceptable!
The media could not be loaded. I bought two different incubators. The success rate of THIS incubator was 0%! The other incubator was 95%. Different batches of eggs in each but I put 2 eggs from the 95% hatch rate incubator in this one as a test. The temperature remained constant the problem is the roller system is awkward with wires and maybe the humidity was inconsistent? It was maintained as directed by the instructions . Not sure. ... show more

  • It worked for my purposes, happy with it
The media could not be loaded. This is the third year that I have attempted to hatch one of my GCC eggs and at last I have a grandbaby-conure. I love that it comes with an additional power cord with clamps for hooking up to a battery. This would be a life saver during outages (trust me, I had a an outage a few years back when I was hatching quail, if my old incubator has this option it would have been a literal lifesaver). Keeping the humidity at the appropriate level was a little tricky and I had to have a family member keep an eye out when I was out but halfway through I but a small sponge on each side of the water reservoir which helped significantly to keep the humidity up for longer. Outside of that I have zero issues. It was easy to use out of the box and the instructions were sufficiently detailed. It was a great buy for the money. ... show more

  • Perfect for the farm
Love this incubator I’ve hatched over 1000 chicks and it’s still going

  • I ordered 2. Both are 2 degrees hotter then what the thermometer says.
It's ok. alot smaller then i thought. it runs 2 degrees hot. Not enough to kill my eggs. 3 stars because of size and temp. They are also inconsistant. The water fill holes on one of my units is covered up by the styrofoam, while the other is exactly where it is supposed to be. Great price, but it is the size of a shoebox. Quail Eggs Only. ... show more
