  • Perfect for post surgery
Product was very easy to put together, adjust and took apart easily to fit back in the box it came in for storage. The seat lifts up for standing. It's a little weird to go sitting higher up but that's the deal when you're using it so you don't have to sit down so low. The handles were sturdy and very useful. ... show more

  • Easy to assemble
This was a great price and easy to assemble. No tools required. Needed it for my husband due to a hip replacement. Very small bathroom but it fit perfect. Had one minor issue which Kelly in customer service resolved quickly. Highly recommend!!

  • Stable. Wide yet seat itself almost too narrow.
I bought this toilet bench to use post hip replacement surgery. I’m 6’3” and weigh 330 pounds. So I needed something tall made of professional grade materials. When I had my knees replaced 2 years ago I used a toilet seat that attached to the toilet. It was cheap, too low to the ground and kept pulling apart from the toilet when I sat on it. I was afraid to use it. So I liked the idea of a taller freestanding high quality seat that I can move from upstairs toilet to downstairs. For the most part it has met my needs. It’s comfortable to sit on. I feel safe using the two handle bars to lower and raise myself. The only issue that I have is that for as wide as the metal frame is, the seat is very narrow such that it’s a bit unsettling when using it for #2 and it’s narrowness makes it harder to wipe myself. Also, if it were placed in something like a “toilet room”, the frame may be too wide to fit. Eventually I have found a way to contort myself to make it work, but it shouldn’t be that way. ... show more

  • Fairly sturdy and super easy to assemble
I am used to assembling things that are shipped to me of which I consider myself of average competence to do so. This unit was very easy to assemble (only took me 15 minutes to assemble taking my sweet time about it) I weigh better than 260 pounds and it holds me well. I am getting ready to get hip surgery and was recommended to get this to help me with having an easier time doing number 2. I highly recommend this item if the throne seems very difficult and too low to lift yourself up from. Another advantage of this item is that the is adjustable. Like I said, it seems to be fairly sturdy and easy to assemble. ... show more

  • Smaller but works for me
Pros - lower price, shipped fast, cushy padding, light weight. Cons - smaller and less sturdy than other units, although legs were too long/too tall for me due to few hole adjustments, does not fold for travel or storage (you would have to take completely apart again). I thought I might have to return this seat unit because the legs would not adjust low enough, but I was able to make it work for me by swapping the legs that came with it for the legs from my old riser which have more hole adjustments. I am 5'5"/155 lbs and except for the odd thing with the extra long legs, this riser is just big enough. It would be inadequate if I were a larger person. ... show more

  • Perfect item for after knee replacement
This was the best purchase ever!! Compared to the attached raised toilet seats this one is height adjustable so you can make it any height you want, and it has the arms on both sides to help stand up. Also it’s very lightweight so can be moved from bathroom to bathroom easily. We also put it in the shower and used as a shower chair! Seat is cushioned and comfortable. The fact that it’s so light makes it slightly less sturdy feeling, but it’s fine! Easy to assemble, quick delivery. Couldn’t ask for a more useful piece of equipment. ... show more

  • Great Raised Toilet Seat
This was easy to assemble once I realized it's all about the letters on the parts. Very sturdy, lightweight, adjustable height which is needed for my husband who is 6'1". Fits well in the bathroom, just need to move a little to get it out of the way when not in use. There is a gap between the toilet seat and the raised seat, so I may look into getting a stand alone cushion seat and taping it to the raised seat bars to close this gap. ... show more

  • What We Needed
Delivery in a day was the most critical thing. Looked like it would be a little difficult to assemble, but not at all! Note sure it would safely handle 300 pounds, but that is double our present needs. Price was fair.
