This chair is quite comfortable and oh so soft! I have had this chair for about a month now. When I first got it, the chair was kind of puffy. But after sitting in it for a few hours, it has flattened out a little. That being said, the chair is still very comfortable and has retained its softness. I fell asleep in it just yesterday! I sit in this chair for multiple hours almost every day as I read a lot. It suits my purposes well and exceeds my expectations. This chair is excellent for reading a book or watching a movie. Keep in mind though that it is a little short for a desk, and sits you farther back than necessary it you are using a desk. I have a foot rest that I prop my feet up on when sitting in the chair 'cause I like to slouch-sit; this way, I can also lean my head against the chair. I'm not tall enough to reach the floor when slouching in this chair though lol. The chair is also good to sit in "like a normal person" and I have no trouble comfortably sitting in it with my feet on the floor (I'm 5'4). If you like to sit criss-cross, however, this chair is not the best for that. Although there is enough room (if you aren't super tall), the shape and build of the chair makes this uncomfortable. There is a bar that runs below the front where your knees sit; sitting criss-cross will dig your shins into it. Sitting like this also doesn't seem good for the overall wear of the chair as it pushes the chair to accommodate for a different type of posture. I use this chair for a reading chair. Easy to fold my legs in the seat of the chair too. I’m 5 foot 7. I recommend a footstool to use with it so that it can also be used like a lounge chair.

I purchased this for my 12 year old son for Xmas. I have ordered an identical chair for my daughter but from a different brand. These chairs are usually great. They are so big and fluffy. I have literally slept in one before. Out of the box the chair appeared exactly as expected. My son even thought it felt sturdier than the first one we bought. Unfortunately that was not the case. He set it up in his room and sat in it while playing his new ps5 game. I don't think he sat in it for even an hour when he noticed stuffing on his floor. The entire back seem had ripped open and was spilling stuffing out everywhere. For context my son is only 12 years old and not quite 90 pounds....not a big kid. I have issued a return and a replacement chair. I am going to give this brand one more chance.. UPDATED 2/15/25....Great Customer Sevice.
