This lamp feels hefty and of good quality. The assembly time was minutes. The “brass” color is not so much a brown-ish antique brass color as the photos and description suggest, but a newer yellowy-orange brass color. The step less dimming works smoothly. The LEDs are hardwired, meaning there are no bulbs which can be replaced. For me, that’s a draw back because the lamp definitely has an end life when the LEDs stop working. Still, it meets my needs and I’m happy with the purchase. Minus one star for the brass tone and inability to replace the LEDs. ... show more

Just as pictured. This is a great book lamp. I have it in the corner of my livingroom and it gives off a nice glow. I don't have to turn on the overhead lighting and the lamp looks beautiful. I would purchase it again.
