I can’t stress enough how substantial this keyboard is. The price tag is a little scary if it’s just an office computer use type of keyboard, but if you’ve ever used a function for anything else it might replace all of your keyboards. I’m not normally one for white peripherals, but my girlfriend is. I even like the white one because it looks clean and shows the rgb brilliantly. I’ll this with the black though, for the aesthetic of my workstations. This base version is very quiet when typing furiously for work, which is nice when you are in an office with others. But you can customize your keys with the switches you prefer if you like a more clicky clicky keyboard like I do. Included in the box are the tools you need to replace the switches if you want to. This keyboard is heavy. The palm-rest is heavy. It feels like it should cost as much as it does in substance and stability. Work or play… this is a great keyboard. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This keyboard is pretty good. It sounds good, it’s responsive, and the RGB is nice. I have a few complaints though. 1. It’s not worth $100, got it on sale for $50 and if you can get it under $70 I would say it’s worth it but it’s not worth $100 for a few reasons. It’s mostly plastic (other keyboards around this price have metal/aluminum) the switches aren’t pre-lubed, and the keycaps feel somewhat cheap. 2. The RGB customization is pretty limited. I fiddled with it for like 15 minutes and I could only get like around 9 lighting modes. The software is confusing to me, maybe im not doing something right but it’s a complaint I have. ... show more

To start, I previously owned a Corsair K95 Platinum Full-Size keyboard. The keyboard was solid, you could feel it too, and equipped with Cherry MX Reds it’s hard to not be happy. I wanted a change, especially in color as my PC setup has changed. Here I found this NZXT keyboard, which is in the same exact price point as the K95. I will admit, I was hesitant about changing keyboards let alone switches from Cherry MX’s to Gateron Red’s but let me tell you, THE GATERON SWITCHES ARE BETTER THAN CHERRY MX’S! They are smooth, have that beautiful thwomp that you really only find in custom keyboards. Not to mention the build quality is amazing, they added foam between the layers to make the experience much more solid and I appreciate it. They also thought about modularity as well as this keyboard is fully hotswappable for your switches. You don’t want Gateron instead you want the super expensive switches? You can do that! This keyboard is also equipped with a detachable USB-C cable which gives you the option to customize it more like I did with a coiled cable. I also wanted to talk about the software, this keyboard uses NZXT’s software CAM. It is lightweight, powerful, and SIMPLE to use; unlike Corsair’s iCUE/CUE software. The magnetic wrist pad on this keyboard was a great choice as well. I can say for certain, I am never looking back. I would recommend this keyboard to anyone. ... show more

I’ve bought keyboards from the big name brands and while they are good, they just feel kinda cheap for what you pay. I didn’t know NZXT made keyboards or mice, I know they are known for their cases and coolers and I liked the look of it and wanted to give it a go. I’m glad I did! First off it looks really nice! The branding is so subtle you don’t notice it unless you are literally looking for it. The size is perfect, no extra space on the edges, just clean and simple. The key caps feel better then keyboards I have paid more for, and I am actually liking the switches more then my cherry red switch keyboard (I know this may not be popular opinion). It also feels robust for the price, not just light plastic and rgb. Basically I’m just trying to say this keyboard feels like it is actually worth price, and isn’t just high priced because it’s “for gaming”. It’s very well built and looks elegant I think.
