I'm not sure what I am missing. All the bluetooth in-ear buds have batteries that last 5 hours at best. Have the designers never flown over an ocean? I want to keep my earbuds in for the whole journey, and these are the one good quality sounding earbuds I can find to achieve that. They have a flat battery close to the jack plug, with a power switch and charging port. All international aircraft now have USB ports in them, so I just plug in a power cable and can listen through them for 10 hours or more while enduring the pleasure of flying. I recommend these to anyone anticipating a longer than 3 hour flight. Again, what am I missing? They have silicone ear retention flaps that help, but become ineffective after six hours of flying so I find myself having to push them back into the ear canal frequently to achieve the best noise cancellation. ... show more

    • No volume control.
I bought those to replace my beloved old Bose comfort wired headphones because they got too old. I was excited to have found those because they have the noice cancelling option. Unfortunately they are not what I expected. The sound quality itself is good. The problem is volume control. You can’t control the volume using the device. I could with my still functioning old Bose, using the same connector to my iPhone. So clearly it is the volume control itself. It goes from no sound to maximum sound without anything in between. The only way to control the volume is using the phone itself. The other issue is the noice canceling. It seems to be working but very feeble. Overall, not good value for the money, I’m returning it and hope to get a better one. ... show more

Impressive noise cancelling. These replaced an older, cheaper set that I somehow lost, and I'm blown away by how much better the noise cancellation is on the Bose. Audio quality is good, if perhaps not the equal of a good set of high end 'phones, but certainly good enough for most uses. My only concern is how long a charge lasts on the battery. I'm be on a 13 hour flight in a few days and wonder if the noise cancelling will hold out. I'll report back here after I find out. (My last pair had a replaceable AA, so even if it died mid-flight it was easy to replace.) Bose is expensive, even as a refurb, but given the noise cancelling performance worth it to me. ... show more

I was recently looking for wired earbuds for my PC and phone (i sleep with earbuds), and stumbled upon these QC’s. I typically sleep with AirPods Pro Gen 2 but got tired of them falling out my ear at night so went to wired. Overall the sound quality of these are mediocre to good like I said maybe 7/10 audio quality. ANC wise I think it performs well but for sure not as good as apple AirPods Pro gen 2. I own the Bose QC headphones and I would say the audio is a bit muddier and not as crisp. These earbuds are definitely on the higher price side but I do think they sound good. I would say don’t get these as your first option but price to sound ratio is not there. ... show more

These are the ones I had many years ago and used them to death. Maybe 10 years. But so expensive, I couldnt buy another pair. But here they are at a price I can afford. Yay!

    • If the volume control worked right, I’d like them a lot!
This was a replacement for my older Bose headphones and I wanted to love them but the volume control doesn’t work when using these with my iPad - it is either no sound or all the way loud! (They work fine with my phone and laptop) Frustrating. Normally, the quality is great, very comfortable for my small ears, decent battery life (and I like that they have a cable) ... show more

I wish Bose still made these headphones! This is my third pair to purchase, first time from this shop. Other than VERY short battery life, they worked great until they fell apart in May (purchased in January). I'm glad I purchased the Asurion insurance. They make you jump through hoops, but after a few months, I got an Amazon gift card to replace these. ... show more
