  • Because it draws only 30 watts, it leaves lots of headroom on my 360-Watt power supply.
It solved the problem of my monitor going blank intermittently, or in some cases not turning on at all (i.e., no signal from my Dell PC). I was told that Intel UHD video driver and Dell BIOS updates gradually created an incompatibility. I used GEFORCE GT 1020 to bypass the problem. It was inexpensive, draws only 30 watts, and works great (I am not a gamer.). ... show more

  • Works great for streaming videos (Netflix etc.) on older PC
I have an old PC I built years ago with an AMD FM1 socket motherboard and 16GB of memory. I recently bought a 34" ultrawide monitor that needed a video card upgrade to handle the required resolution of 2560 x 1080. I tried a cheap Radeon 5450 that got the proper resolution but video quality was terrible, a waste of money. I then bought this hoping it would improve the video experience without breaking the bank. I am very pleased to announce it works wonderfully with crisp clear images and excellent color. Super easy to install, all I needed to do was insert the card - 5 minutes. Next download the driver from the NVIDIA website (GeForce Game Ready Driver 382.33 - WHQL for Windows 10) and install it. Bingo! My old PC just keeps on running and I only use it for basic duties like email, browsing, paying bills and now watching streaming videos on my nice big monitor. I'm not a gamer and never will be but I love watching movies and documentaries etc. This fits the bill perfectly for that and now I am good to go until this PC finally gives up the ghost, in which case I will build another. That has worked out great with this rig which is 10 years old now, far outlasting any prebuilt PC I ever had. You can build your own getting exactly what you want and not get loaded with tons of useless stuff you do not want that just clutters up your setup. I cannot vouch for the longevity of this card as I just installed it but right now I am thrilled to get excellent video quality for my binge watching habits at a reasonable price. ... show more

  • It works fine, but it's too expensive
I think it's too expensive for what it offers, but if you have a SFF PC like me, with a 200w PSU, you don't have to many options. For those who can spend more money, look for the rx 6400 LP in ebay, that's a much better option for the SFFs.

  • The best value for money
I've been using GT1030 for about 1 year and the performance is incredible for such a low price. It can run relatively demanding games such as Elden Ring, Ghostrunner 2, and The Witcher 3. Running at 30-40 fps for 3D games and +60 fps for indies like hollow knight, hades, etc. I use Linux (Fedora) and the NVIDIA drivers work perfectly and are very easy to install. ... show more

  • WARNING Low profile bracket NOT included
I bought this item because the description explicitly says "SFF Low profile ready (included Low Profile / Half Height Bracket)". Despite the box arriving apparently untampered, it did NOT include a low profile/half height bracket, so the card cannot be installed in my SFF case! Very disappointing.

  • SFF Pc's best friend
Fantastic for adding a little muscle to a SFF PC with low power requirements. I popped this bad little dude in an optiplex 3050 sff. No lag or struggling for flash games, web surfing, 4k video playback, basic task ect. This is meant to give some pep to your office PC and not turn your system into a gaming rig. ... show more

  • Nice low power card
It's a nice low power card that works perfect for my Dell OptiPlex 3040 that I use for playing games and browsing. Used to have integrated graphics, and then recently I got this GT 1030. It fits inside nice in and works well with my 180 watt power supply. The GT 1030 works pretty well as a lighter gaming graphics card, and offers a good price to performance ratio. And the GDDR5 option overall is way better then other DDR4 counterparts Overall, its a decent low profile card if you want to do lighter gaming. ... show more

  • Stable
I didn't need a high end video card. My MB has built in 4K graphics with a DisplayPort and HDMI port. So it might seem as if this is a step backwards. But I'm using it with a modern high end 4K TV, not a stand alone monitor, so HDMI works. Despite the PC itself appearing to be more current, this card has more overhead. It can handle graphics better without the occasional dropouts that I was getting before. This isn't a high end card and doesn't carry a high end price. But it does a good job of 4K graphics far better than what the built in Intel chipset offered me. I can't vouch for its use on the most high intense games, but it has been far more stable than what I had before. Documentation is minimal to the point of uselessness. You can scan a QR code, go to their website, go through page after page, and find a link that your browser might not open for security reasons since they tried to embed an NVIDIA page, or you can simply do a web search for "NVIDIA GT 1030 drivers." That will be faster. The days of including a CD with outdated drivers are gone, so I'm not complaining about that, but a small page telling you where to go for drivers would have been far better than a QR code that gets you to the wrong place, and makes you page through every video card the company makes. ... show more
