Purchased this mic since I got tired of wearing my headset and I switched over to iems. Honestly this microphone works perfectly with my entire system. I really like the NZXT CAM software tinkering I can do with the microphone. Although I did some research on the settings it seems to be a little complicated for me, but still straight out of the box it works flawlessly. If someone tells me my b or s in my words sound a little much I have the luxury of being able to turn those down. The aesthetic of the device is minimalistic and clean. Seems like it’ll outlast my desk. I got the black one. I enjoy the small amount of rgb, they didn’t go overboard like Razer or Corsair does. This was just what I was looking for.

Sounds great! It's sturdy and the recordings are clear. Something I haven't liked about PC digital mics is the software mute instead of a physical break in audio connectionin. this device provides a compromise by remembering the last used mute condition on startup and providing a bright red indicator to confirm its condition.

This is a good microphone and I am happy with my purchase. I most value the compact size more subdued appearance than other options. That said, when attaching this mic to a boom arm, the USB port can block the use of a knurled washer (used to firm up the threaded connection and stop the mic from spinning around.) If the USB port were to be re-oriented ninety degrees this could be avoided. It would also be cool if the included base post were threaded to the same standard 1/4"-20 as the microphone itself, such that one could unscrew the base parts and use its top part to attach to a boom arm. Note that, to be able to do what I did in the second photo, one would need tools to rethread the base.

I got this microphone because I loved how it looked and when I got it, it was even better quality than I thought it would be. It has an all metal stand with the microphone itself being made of high quality plastic. Then the sound quality is just on a whole other level. The sound is just so crisp and for the most part when paired with the convenient audio jack that is in the microphone it cancels out the background noise to provide even better sound

I picked up the NZXT Capsule both for the way it looks and for the positive reviews. I was switching from the often recommended Blue Yeti as mine broke after all these years and I was looking for something different. Though the Capsule is still a very good looking mic, for the $90 price tag, the audio quality is terrible. It's very tinny, very buzzy, and sounds like you're talking through a tin can on a string. I got my old Yeti on sale for the same price point, and this thing was a huge letdown. To add insult to injury, it does not come with a manual, but a QR code that directs to the NZXT website for a digital manual. Following the link brings you to a 404, because it seems NZXT stopped supporting this model in favor of the new "Elite" variant. Additionally, there is zero customization for this unit whatsoever. There's no provided software, and since there isn't a manual either, good luck figuring out how to turn off the very bright LEDs. Look elsewhere for a microphone if you value the clarity of your voice. This thing has zero depth, zero lower frequency range, and makes you sound like you're calling from an airplane bathroom.

Product is great. Purchased to use with the NZXT capsule. Saw a lot of reviews about how the item breaks easily. Be careful because the boom arm is only made to Ben one way. Adjust tension mobs prior to adjusting. Essentially follow the instructions and you are perfect.
