I have Henckel knives, but this Wustof knife is of a higher caliber. It cuts through vegetables like they were butter, and won't "wear out" after repeated sharpenings. It has a heavier handle than most knives, which balances out the blade to make cutting more effective. This blade is very balanced. I can tell it was made with good material and craftsmanship. With care and proper sharpening, this knife can last for decades for typical home cooks. For those that are used to Japanese knives, this German blade could feel too heavy.

So I had to clean it.... Not sure why and that kind of was not cool, but things happen. It wasn't food dirt, not sure what it was. No matter. Decent packaging and it has a sharp edge, looked not clean but felt good in hand, does a great job. If you know the brand you'll know it's a very good price.
