so many auburn colors say they are auburn, but never have that red undertone. they are just a dusty brown and not very rich. i color my brows my natural color, medium brown, and then go over with an auburn color to match the color i color my hair to- which is usually a bright red. it is SO HARD to find a decent auburn that adds this little accent of red to my brows, but i think this is it. i usually have a pencil for so long for this slight highlight that i cant find it again to replace it, so i am happy i came upon this one. ... show more

I absolutely love this brow liner but….NYX please make refills!!!’. I am tired of putting all these plastic pencils in the landfill. I’d pay close to the same to avoid the plastic. We’re eating a credit card amount of plastic every week Ive heard.

March 22 2022 I love the fact that you could twist this up to use it and not have to sharpen like a pencil brow liner, I use brow liners as eyeliners since I can’t find the right brown colored eyeliner. This is super easy and precise because of the edges, the pros is that it’s really good and cheap for its price(I mistakenly bought this thought it was a pencil one). The cons is that is has very little product, but it’s really cheap and I bought two of these so it’ll last me a while😘 Another thing is that it’s waterproof but not smudge free, you can only remove it with oil cleanser or oil makeup remover(I use this). It’s made of about the same material in pencil brown liners so this lasts throughout the day. In the pic i twisted all of it up and that’s all the product in there. No issues with the twisting up thing so far, everything goes very smoothly. September 15 2023 I was going to repurchase this brow pencil then I saw the price…it literally used to cost $2.22 now it’s over $10…?? Why??!!?!! 💀 yeah I’m going to look for alternatives. I thought they might be more of an orange ginger color but not quite. My biggest complaint is that it chips at the slightest pressure, so you gotta use it lightly. It's a pretty color.

I was using Anastasia Brow Wiz, but the price for a product that lasts 3 weeks (daily use) at most - yikes! So I decided to give the NYX Brow Pencil a try. I like the slanted shape of the color stick itself, makes application easier and more natural-looking. The color I ordered is taupe (hard to find, thank you NYX). It is a decent taupe, not reddish, which was a concern of mine. Especially for the low price, this brow pencil is excellent. It applies pretty smoothly, certainly as smoothly as any brow pencil I've tried. As for coverage, the same - no better or worse than any of the brow pencils I've tried. I always use cheap, clear mascara to set my brows after I apply pencil. Like all the brow products I've used, this one does tend to darken after some hours, but not markedly so. I love Anastasia Brow Pomade in taupe, but it is a process to apply and it darkens a lot after a while. It does, however last for months. I can't see the NYX brow pencil lasting for a very long time, but at such a low price, I definitely recommend this product. ***Update: I am impressed. I use this product 4 times/week and there is plenty left almost 3 months after purchase! Upgrade from 4 stars to 5! ... show more
