I love this product, I’ve been using the espresso color for years now. The pencil itself is thin so you can get a fine line or build the color for a darker shade. Because it’s so fine the pencil can break easily if too much is exposed while applying but that’s easily managed. The other item that I had to get used to is the temperature when applying the material heats slightly as you apply so the lines get a little wider. I will do the fine lines on the inside for both brows first so I can get the fluffy look and then the brow shape next since the product end has heated slightly. It has a little spoolie with a cap on the other end, I always manage to ruin mine with lint or lose them so it’s nice to have one attached. Longevity wise, it does smudge or rub off pretty easily. I don’t typically touch my eyebrows so this isn’t and issue for me but could be if you rub you face a lot. ... show more

I had been using Taupe, but as my hair continues to gray it was getting too dark. THANK GOODNESS they just added Ash Blond. It is TAUPE. No red, no warm tones. It looked too light on the box, and on my hand I was afraid it would look green, but it is perfect for my light, pink complexion and white/gray/ash brown hair. I believe you should have an extra refill with the pencil. It breaks very easily. I have no eyebrows due to chemotherapy so a natural look is very important to me. The brush on the other end really helps to do that.
