Bought it because the advert and Amazon AI BOTH said it was backlit. It's not!! Still, I am happy with my purchase. It was delivered quickly, but USPS provided notice of delivery 24 hours before it actually occurred, resulting in the filing of a Porch Pirate report to both the US Postal Inspector's office and local LEO. Turned out to be an overly aggressive postal deliverer and restrictive hours of postal carrier operation. Delivered the day following USPS notice of delivery. I’ve been using the Apple Magic Keyboard with Numeric Keypad for a bit now, and overall I’m really happy with it. Typing on it feels great—keys are low profile but still have a nice click, and I can type fast without my fingers getting tired. The numeric keypad is a big plus if you do a lot of numbers, spreadsheets, or data entry. It’s one of those things you don’t realize you missed until you have it. A few things I like: • Easy to pair with my Mac and iPad (just works, very Apple of it) • Rechargeable battery lasts a long time—I barely think about charging it • The layout is comfortable, and the extra function keys are handy Downsides: it’s definitely on the expensive side, and because it’s so slim, there’s not much wrist support built in, so some people might want a wrist rest. Overall, if you’re already in the Apple ecosystem and want a clean, reliable keyboard with a number pad, this is a really solid choice.
