Fantastic mascara! I wanted a subtle blue mascara to add some color to my usual black eyeliner. This was perfect! Its a great shade of blue. Not too bright like some "electric" blues I've seen, but enough color to be noticeable. It's a really gorgeous color. It applies really easily, needing only one coat, or 2 if you're feeling bold. It slightly lengthens and builds lashes, not a ton but just enough to give them emphasis. Perfect amount, in my opinion. I don't really like mascaras that are too "lengthening" and "thickening" because they always tend to clump up and make my lashes stick together. Honestly I think the quality of this is better than a lot of the black mascaras I own. I have always loved NYX and I use a lot of their makeup. It's easy to wash off; personally I just use a washcloth and warm water, and it doesn't irritate my contacts at all. I've been wearing this every day since I got it. I seriously love the color!! I can't say it enough! Its like a bright navy blue. I've attached some pics so you can get an idea, hope the lighting is okay! **This is with just one light coat. You can actually get the color to be a lot brighter than this, I just prefer a subtle look.

This mascara is a rich navy / royal blue. It wasn't as bright as I was hoping however, I have natural blond hair with medium brown eyelashes so it may be brighter on someone who has lighter eyelashes. It does lighten a bit after it dries and is more noticeable in natural / bright light. It doesn't have a noticeable odor and it is very easy to apply. I didn't experience any clumping and it went on so smoothly. I originally bought this for a 1980s party so I was hoping it would be bright and obnoxious but it isn't at all - it's very pretty, subtle and I can wear it to work and still look professional. If you are looking for a bright or light & bold blue, skip this one (try Sally girl mini mascara in blue; although clumpier, it is a lot brighter) BUT if you want something different yet classy, this one is for you! I'm loving my dark blue lashes so much that I will continue to purchase this!

I get sooooo many compliments on this mascara. I wear this abt 360 days a yr. That's how much I love this color, brand & company product. I've been ordering this for several yrs now. It's so bright & colorful. Only 1 downfall is it does tend to dry out near the end of the tube. But I'd still HIGHLY RECOMMEND this Blue NYX mascara! I tried other store brand (blue color) n it doesn't even compare.

I am so upset that I wasted my money on this mascara. It'd probably require 50 coats before it even shows up. Barely any product comes out on the wand, and it doesn't really look purple once it's on. I have blonde eyelashes, so any color mascara instantly shows up on my eyes. Please don't waste your money on this.

I love NYX blue mascara and am devastated that they stopped producing it. This version is the predecessor to the Worth the Hype blue mascara. This version is not as good as the w.t.h version (smears/smudges easier and is thicker so it clumps more) but since NYX no longers makes blue mascara this is the only one I can find. In my opinion NYX makes the best blue mascara on the market and even with the minor faults in this version it is worth it. I have tried many other blue mascara brands and you can't beat the color and performance from NYX. You will not be disappointed.

I've this for about a week and used it several times with disappointing results each time. My lashes are dark at the roots but blond at the tips, and this mascara shows up as obviously purple, but the purple is not obvious from far away. This is good since the intention is to enhance your natural eye colour, not to turn your lashes purple. I really don't know if it does or doesn't make my green eyes pop more. I put the mascara on one eye only and asked my husband if he could tell and he had no idea. Getting to why he had no idea: This mascara provides no volume, no curl, no lift, no lengthening. Nothing. As far as what mascara does, I think it might be the worst mascara I've ever tried. When I initially put it on I suppose it slightly lifts the lashes, but if I check an hour later they look just like they would without any help. Also, this mascara rubs off extremely easily. If I put it on my bottom lashes I end up with purple smears on my skin right away and if you so much as touch your eyes while wearing it the mascara disappears. So, I've been using it over black mascara but I really don't know if it is visible and if it actually makes any difference to how vivid my eye colour is. I think another reviewer's tip about using it with a lash builder is probably the only way you'd be able to use this and be satisfied, but then it really should be sold with this stuff. I regret spending the $6 on this. I would have had a better experience if I ripped the money up and tossed it up into the air like confetti to give a festive atmosphere to wasting my cash.
