Solid for 1/3 the price. Directions are pointless, but not rocket science. Seems sturdy the the coating looks like it will last, time will tell. Drilled some holes, used included bolts and feel confident that it will hold. I mounted this on an old town 120.

I used this to mount a trolling motor to the swim deck of my 19 ft bow rider. The trolling motor is 89lbs of thrust with a 24V supply. It ain't small. This plate, along with upgraded mounting hardware, works really well. I did have to replace the plastic spacer blocks with wood as they couldn't handle the weight. That was to be expected. The main mounting plate has proven to be a beast. It holds a large motor, on a large boat (relatively speaking), with a large amount of thrust. It does all of this effortlessly. To date the sealant applied around the mount perimeter shows no sign of cracking or flex. Although this isn't really the application it was designed for, it handles it with zero issues. There are other products designed for my application. They also cost three times as much. I could not be happier with the end result.

Works great on my perception outlaw 12'. I had to use a small piece of wood underneath to level it to make it fit inside the kayak's cutout precisely but the item itself does great. I would recommend larger washers than what was given just to ensure the load/pull on the plastic is greater displaced but I was able to pick those up for 60 cents at the hardware store. Great product, use it for my trolling motor all the time.

This sturdy motor mount fit my Jackson Big Rig kayak without modifications. An easy way to mount a trolling motor on kayaks with power pole mounts. Don't know how well it will hold up with use in salt water but so far it's been great.
