We were looking for a photo frame that had motion sensors and a great quality display and found it with this reasonably priced model from dragontouch. We love the touch screen feature and the way the pictures are rotated differently from picture to picture…these were added benefits we hadn’t expected or thought of when purchasing a digital picture frame. It has worked flawlessly since opening it on Christmas and we have really been enjoying seeing pictures we had forgotten about and ones we don’t look at very often. It makes a great gift for grandparents! The one thing I would complain about is the set up is not super user friendly. I don’t mind that it only allows 50 photo uploads at a time, but it is not a seamless transfer in using the product’s app. It’s great to have an app that allows you to upload photos - it just takes several steps to get there and it’s easy to forget which pictures you have already uploaded because the upload screen shows you ALL the pictures at once (the ones you want to upload and the ones you have already uploaded.) Because of this, I have uploaded duplicates. Also, because the touchscreen on the app is very sensitive when choosing photos - I have uploaded things by accident- like screenshots of purchase receipts, but was able to delete them easily right from the frame’s touch screen display when I saw those things pop up in the photo rotation. Another con is that sometimes it seems like you see the same picture several times in a day and there is not a good rotation flow of photos…. Not sure why that is (even when you choose the random option in settings) but I think if you have a good amount of photos on there, that will lessen the chance of seeing one photo multiple times. These “cons” are definitely not a big deal and wouldn’t stop me from buying this same product again in the future. Overall it’s one of the best presents we received for Christmas! ... show more

Was super excited to finally display lots of pictures! Easy to use out of the box- instructions were very simple to follow. I have it set to turn on/off automatically, so I can’t attest to the motion detection feature. But I love that I can set it to be on when I want to. Adding pictures is easy, I use the app method. The app itself could definitely use some updating to be more user-friendly. But it’s not the worst. One thing to note is the cord is black- I’m not sure how people are supposed to hang these frames with the cord just trailing- it wouldn’t look great. But it looks nice on a table, where you can hide the cord behind it 👍 worth the money! ... show more

I wanted a large screen frame to display our years of photos languishing on my PC. The Dragontouch 15 seemed like the right frame but it isn’t. The screen size is big but the software is not smart enough to display both horizontal and vertical pictures properly in full screen mode (the way every PC or Smart TV does) Additionally downloading photos to it results in really poor resolution, USB stick gives the best image. After spending several hours trying a multitude of options here is what I learned. 1. The frame plays .HEIC files, from iPhone (good) but vertical pictures ALWAYS show horizontally reguardless of how rotated on the PC (bad). 2. File format must be in .JPG if you want to show vertical files vertical on the frame. It takes time to cover every vertical photo JPG. :( 3. If full screen mode is selected. Horizontal Photos - the full screen space is taken up horizontally with a horizontal photo in HEIC or JPG format, as expected. Vertical photos - HEIC vertical photos show horizontally and take up the full horizontal screen, not desired unless you like to tilt your head all the time. A vertical JPG photo will be cropped top and bottom as the photo is zoomed in by the frame until the width of the photo is full frame. 4. Full Screen NOT selected. This is the only setting to get a vertical photo displayed vertically without cropping and zooming An unused, blurred area is on both left & right sides if any picture. The larger 15” frame size is effectively reduced and a smaller picture rendered. Horizontal photos - photo is smaller in HEIC and JPG with blurred bars right and left. Vertical - JPG photo will show full height with blurred areas right and left. This is Theo not way to show a vertical picture vertically but at the expense of smaller horizontal photos. With a bit more effort in writing the software I’m sure this issue could be addressed as it is on smart TVs and PCs, but nope, didn’t happen. Yes, I’m running the latest version of software 1.1.43. After figuring this out, sadly my return period is expired. If all your photos are exclusively vertical or horizontal, this frame is for you. If you have a mix of vertical/horizontal like 99.9% of people, look elsewhere if getting a full screen image on a more expensive large screen device is important to you. DragonTouch developers - open to solutions to fix this issue. Please fix this issue and send out an updated software push! Finally, the screen surface is plastic and not glass, so go easy on it when cleaning to prevent scratching. While it is a touch screen, using the remote is quicker and eliminates the need to clean the screen and potential to scratch it. ... show more
