The product is very good and it does what it is made to do--my problem is the delivery, I ordered 2 of these about 3-4 weeks apart--nothing wrong with the 1st one except I need to wear it all the time and it needed washing so I bought the 2nd one to be able to have one on when I am supposed to but now with the delivery problem--both deliveries did not get to me on the day they were promised, they came the next day which is not that big of a deal except do what you promised or dont promise that day, say the next day and both times it was USPS, the first time they said it was an address problem yet when it was delivered the next day the address was right and the 2nd one was marked online as delivered and left in mailbox but it wasnt in mailbox until the next day--oh well not the products fault, it is good ... show more

This product was suggested by my back dr due to severity of my injuries. I was due to have a shot before I went overseas and ended up using this binder every single day. Not one time did my back bother me. The plus side: I actually lost weight because the binder pressed on my belly. 😂. This gem was the best product ever recommended. I highly recommend keeping the blue attachment for the Velcro— it’s acts as a protector for other material when not wearing the binder.     • Great for upper abdominal hernia
Style: 3 Panel - 9" High Size: 30-45 Inch (Pack of 1)
I really like having a hernia belt that will cover my upper abdominal hernia. So many products are for lower abdominal hernias or umbilical hernias. This belt would work for any of the 3 main types/locations. I know I need hernia surgery, but now just is not a good time. I kept having my hernia push through the opening when I would go to lift something, cough or sometimes just lean over. I needed compression and support. This 3 band hernia belt gives me the support I need. One complaint I have is that sometimes the space between the bands leaves red marks and I have to take it off and put it back on a little looser. This design works great if you have hips that are bigger than your midsection. You can attach it at an angle vs having the velcro go straight up and down - I tried that was and it kept rolling up at the bottom, so frustrating. But... angling it makes all the difference. Another thing to note, the velcro is very strong! That's great for its ability to stay in place, but not good if the underside of your clothing catches on it. I would recommend wearing either a long tank top or undershirt over it to protect your clothing. To wash it, I attached the velcro to the belt, put it in a mesh lingerie bag and washed it on gentle cycle. No fabric softener!!! Then hang or lay flat to dry. Make sure you take it off when you go to sleep to give your skin a chance to breathe. It you're putting on lotion, let the lotion soak into your skin well before putting the hernia belt on. Well worth the $20 spent for support I desperately need until I'm able to have surgery. Would recommend and would buy again! *i bought one for my father - he has a hernia too - and he said his gives him great support especially when he's working in the yard! He has the 4 band, I have the 3 band. Oh, a happy added bonus - it also makes you look slimmer! Definitely a nice feature 😉 ... show more

I will admit that I was vary skeptical about this item. After trying it, I feel pretty good. It has a Velcro closure. I have a small trunk, so it works as the bra for me as well. It sinches you where you need the most without pain and discomfort. Wide enough without the need for other garments. I wear mine under a top. Got this to wear after abdominal surgery, the hospital also gave me one. Both work identical and have the same amount of comfort, but the one from the hospital is easier to work with because its a one size fits all and is a bit larger than I needed. But all and all, I recommend!

I was using a similar belt for a hernia, and it was only 5 inches wide. So I wanted something just a little wider for comfort and to cover the area that I needed to have tension, hon. This seems to work very well and it’s very thin and low profile. I only received it yesterday so far so good.

It’s pretty easy to get on by myself. The hospital put one on me after my surgery but by the time I got home it had popped off, it was to small. It got here in three days. So perfect!!!

I wanted this for post egg retrieval, it held my lower belly in place and made it possible for me to walk around and do my errands without pain. It puts just the right amount of pressure on the body.
