This chair is 1 step to fold, lighter than most, came assembled and charged. Works wonderfully and voice warnings can be muted and has SOS button saying help. It is comfortable for 215 pound 5’4”and takes up less room than most chairs when folded. 5 speeds are nice can go a very good speed if in a hurry or much slower. 360 turn is great and very easy to use.

Was tjrilled when it came in as I was going to use it on my trip. Had no problem on the way to my destination. All the airline asked me to do was to pull the battery and carry it on board with me. However, on the way back home the first airport checked ny battery said it had too much volta or amps and refused to let me have the battery to my electric wheelchair. So I ended up checking my wheelchair all the way through. When I got home I got a call from tge local branchds manager saying they were looking into the aituation. I finally got my wheelchair bateery back like 3 weeks later. The genameral manager a t our branch was very helpful and stayed on top of it. But I bought the wheelchair originally because it aaid it aaa airlines friendly, meaning it could travel with no issue. I found out my battery was like 600+ megawatts or amps I cant remember and thelimit is 300. But if you go most anywhere online and look at the wheelchairs most of the say theyre airline compliant but theyre not. Dont be fooled into buying a wheelchair you will need for travel and then cant take that very expensive battery vecause its too high. I did a search on Amazon and there are only three that are 300amps and are considered legal to fly. The other thousand on here are not other places are noncompliant. So either they have to dtsrt making chairs that are airline compliant or because the norm for the battery is usually higher than 500 amp change the rules so that 500ampzs and up is permissble and people are allowed to bring their own wheelchairs instead of depending on the airlines people who always seem to be shorthanded or rather rude and uncaring to us who are handicapped. I purchased this chair for the sole purpose of going to NYC after being diagnosed with a spinal cord injury 4 years ago. This was my very first adventure post surgery. It made my trip so much better! Even though I have to agree with a previous reviewer of the slow/fast speed. It does slow down unexpectedly. Which is a bad thing on the streets of NYC. Then it seems like the wheels were going flat as well. So going to put some air in them and see if that helps but don’t know how to help the control of the gear stick. I could be pushing straight and I would be going to the right and it wouldn’t straighten back up.

I spent more than double the money on a fancy bells and whistles chair, and this one has it beat hands-down for comfort, ease of operation, and battery life. I constantly had to recharge my other chair, but the battery on this lasts so long. My other chair was constantly embarrassing me because there was a slight hesitation to the navigation. It was just enough that turns were difficult and I felt like I appeared drunk when I was driving it, always running into things. This one has no hesitation and I’m driving with so much more ease! It turns great! The only thing I miss is the automatic just-push-a-button folding my other chair had.
