My TWA is growing out and I decided to use a gel to enhance my natural curl pattern. It is working. My natural curl pattern looks great. It has even defined the more course hair at my crown. I would say I am a 4a in front, sides and back and my crown is 4b and 4c. The level is a 5 so it doesn't dry so hard but even if it did I can scrunch out the crunch. I was surprised by Eco because I didn't expect it to work so well. I use Paul Mitchell The Conditioner leave in first - then the blue Eco. The combination does not leave white residue. This gel gets the job done. Its smooth and doesn’t flake. My curls are extremely hydrated when I use eco gel as a base.

Reviews must be at least 20 words long The reason why I purchased eco-blue was because I heard it had a lighter hold and would not make my hair feel so crunchy. Because it only has a hold of five. This was not the case my hair still felt crunchy after the product dried. On the upside it did defined my curls very well. Don't get me wrong I love eco gel. My favorite is the argon oil eco gel and the olive oil ego gel. I just wanted to find something that didn't make my curls as crunchy. ... show more

I have 3b/3c curly hair and need just a little bit of gel to define my curl. This product does a great job without giving my hair any sort of crunchiness. Although I still have a preference for the pink ecostyler (hold of 7), this one does dry well, too. The smell is of windex, which isn't unpleasant. Easy to wash out and doesn't flake when used with other products. Love this stuff ... show more

This makes your hair extremely soft and seems to condition it also. It's different from the crystal in that it doesn't seem to crunch up or hold completely rigid but it does the job whole retaining softness
