    • Great countertop air fryer/toaster oven/oven....
I previously had a Black & Decker Oven/Toaster and used it regularly - it worked well and it fit a standard cookie sheet. I wanted a unit with air frying capability and bought this oven. The footprint of the unit on my kitchen counter is very similar to my last oven (be sure to measure your specific counter space: height under cabinet, length of oven, etc.). The interior is smaller than my previous oven - it will fit a quarter baking sheet (9x12) that does not have protruding "handles" at the end of the sheet. It does however, bake on two racks at the same time depending on what you are baking/cooking (cookies seem to do well on two racks using the fan, things that need to crisp, like chicken wings, do better on single rack that lets are flow freely above and below the food). I think the setting are pretty intuitive, there are a lot of choices for cooking, broil, bake, air fry, probe roasting, etc., and generally, the oven works well for each cooking function. I checked the temp of the oven with a thermometer, and it holds pretty true to temp (you should check your own unit). The air fryer aspect is good...I like being able to adjust the fan from 0-3...I usually use 3 for air frying, and either 0 or 1 for baking (I have found using the fan for baking may cause the baked good to cook from the outside quicker than usual... i would normally check a cake in the center with a toothpick to test for doneness, with the fan on 2 or 3, the outside was already browned, when the center of the cake still needed another 5 minutes). I have cooked several small roasts (pork and beef) using the probe, and it seems to work well using the roast setting. The instructions, recipes, and "cheat sheet" for pre-sets are useful, but I don't find them necessary once I got comfortable with the oven. Other comments I read regarding the oven being loud when running, the signal sound when a cycle was done not being loud, etc. don't seem to be an issue for me. I like the oven alot. ... show more

I've bought a lot of things on Amazon, this may go down as one of the best purchases I have ever made. We LOVE this oven, the whole family enjoys the things that it does, like proof bread, air fry, toast, etc. Air frying fries and the come out crispy even without adding any oil. I used to proof bread covered in the microwave (turned off) which never proofed it all the way, with this oven the proofing is done almost like a pro. The included instruction manual as well as the presets make it's operation easy and fool proof. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to purchase a smaller oven type appliance. ... show more

    • This is an excellent oven
We got this for the same reason many people do: to leave our big oven off in the summer and/or don't really need a big oven that often. Mission accomplished! The other, really big reason we got this one, is no PFAs or nonstick coatings. That is very important for bird owners and people with breathing issues. The only nonstick anything involved with Nuwave products associated with this oven is if you get the grill - which is an optional buy (obviously we did not want it). A bonus part of the nonstick issue is that I contacted the company directly and they were easy to contact and very quick to provide the assurance we needed regarding the nonstick aspect. So, the Pros: Safe for birds!!!, Also: heats fast, cools down fast, is spacious - we can fit our entire Lodge Shallow Round Griddle with handle no problem, allows you to set different temps for upper and lower heat elements, has a great light, pretty easy to clean, and lets you cook on two racks at the same time. Plus it comes with a good air fry basket (no Teflon/PFA) and air fries very well. A big Pro is that it heats continuously and adjust power consumption as needed to maintain the temp - you can see it on a power meter. Much better cooking vs. cycling on and off or going between 1500w and 800w all the time. There's some unnecessary things like a cookbook with corresponding presets that you can use. We have no need but some people might like it. They are totally optional! We just use the On/Off and then "Menu" to select the cooking method.,, i.e. bake, roast, etc. and then set the temp and the time as needed. The Cons, which honestly are small and not at all reasons not to buy: the racks could be sturdier - can't hold a pizza steel (1/4") without bending, and- you have to be extra careful pulling the racks out to retrieve food. They can tip if you are not careful. The racks are the reason I took off a star. I guess another nitpicky thing would be to let you know when it is fully preheated to temp. OTOH I use an oven thermometer anyway so not a big deal. The pros by far outweigh the cons, and we are really happy we bought this Nuwave Bravo XL Pro Air Fryer Toaster Oven. It has exceeded expectations and as of this writing they were doubling the warranty to two years when you register your purchase. How nice is that? ... show more

    • 100% Satisfaction With Bravo XL Pro Air Fryer Toaster Oven
This is our 4th purchase of these combo ovens, and far and away this is the very best of all the ones we've tried. The programmed presets work VERY well (We haven't been able to try them all--there are 100 of them!) and the cooking times/settings for regular functions have turned out excellent results every time. It's much roomier inside than you'd expect, looks great, and surprisingly light in weight and easy to move around. It looked complicated at first but ended up being so easy to operate once you get started, and cleaning has been easy as long as we remember to wipe it down after use. The Bravo XL has so much to offer, and you get a lot of good value for your money with this appliance. A lovely cookbook was included, plus a handy chart of the presets. ... show more
