This pillow is NOT worth the cost. Not only is the pillow way too small for an adult there is not way you are getting a remote or phone in the side pockets like described. Maybe it's a Chinese Junk, and maybe it got sunk. It's been two months, I'm giving up. Would like to get my four dollars and change back just to push a point about accountability, but apparently that's not possible, and really, so much effort over chump-change? Whatever. Then I look at some reviews and it appears the thing itself is junk! Was buying it for support after a surgery that hasn't happened yet, so I guess I'm fortunate in that regard. I purchased two of these for a teacher to use in her classroom. They came vacuum packed in a Tyvek envelope that had a hole in it upon arrival. They are small, understuffed and misshapen. The seller took no care in packaging them. They also had loose strings of different colors all over them. I bought this because my comfy TV watching chair was wearing out and I needed more back support. I thought this would he'll. I thought the shape would give some structure and be stiff, much like the chair snapped pillows of the 80s and 90s. I was wrong. There was hardly any structure to this at all. The padding is not supportive at all! As a matter of fact, when you lean against it, it just smashes all the way flat! Useless! Plus, I didn't expect it to come complete flat from being vacuum packed. I almost sent it back without even opening it, because you can't tell there is any padding in it.

I'm so glad i ordered thus pillow. It indeed is about eight inches deep at the base. I'm short and this is ideal in lounge chairs that are made for much taller people. In fact I'm ordering another four. I ordered the pillow Oct 2 and it arrived today, the 27th.
