Mounted this on front of zero turn mower to drag logsplitter thru the woods. Seems plenty strong. I can jump up and down on the ball with no flex (200lb). Should be fine for any kind of lawn equipment and probably more depending on what is used to mount it.

Perfect fit for my zero turn mower. I did have to drill out frame holes in order to use hardware provided but that was for the best. Once mounted, the unit is soundly in place. Used for tie down and trailering as well as towing if stuck. Highly recommend and will get another for my other mower.

Bought this to add a ball hitch to my zero turn Hustler mower to be able to move around my empty trailer. I had to drill holes as expected to attach, which was not a problem. Definitely sturdy enough for an empty 10’ utility trailer.

It’s thicker than the body of the mower it mounts to. Keep in mind that too much weight will damage the mower body. Bolted right up to my cub cadet zero turn.
