So far, I love the power of the vacuum sealer. I chose this particular product because of the 900W motor. A previous vacuum sealer just did not have enough power to get all the air out. There is a gentle button, which is great for those delicate items that you don't want to be crushed. I sealed a bag of goldfish, and none of them were damaged. There are also modes for dry and liquid, though I have not tried the liquid setting yet. The bag cutter and bag storage are also a nice touch. I have also used it to re-seal store-bought items to keep them fresher longer. It is quite large and takes up a lot of space. I am excited to continue using the vacuum sealer for all my foods and other items and hope it lasts a long time. ... show more

Commercial and heavy duty may be used to describe the suction motor but it's the seal that is not heavy duty and cool and after too many frequent vacuums/seals the bags almost seem themselves, with nothing vacuumed out, just by laying the plastic bags in place. This was not a help as I so hoped for our yearly butchering. ... show more

Well I loved this sealer, it worked really well thru wet or dry sealing including 25 home-raised chickens and lots of garden fruits and vegetables. However, the power switch failed after a little less than one year. But customer support was on board immediately and with zero hassle I had a new sealer in less than two weeks! The one thing I don’t like about the sealer is the cutter- it just doesn’t work well and constantly falls off. But it seals really well! ... show more

I purchased the Nutrichef PKVS50STS vacuum sealer in October of 2021. Lately, the seals in the vacuum bag showed some gaps which sometimes lead to vacuum leaks. After closer inspection, I noticed that the heating strip showed some deterioration. I contacted the customer support. They were very friendly and without any hassle send me a replacement item.     • This. Sucks.
Bought last year. Mostly worked... BUT, It would always be in vacuum mode even if we were only sealing the first end. Annoying. And noisy. But not fatal. Then in May 2023 the heating element died. So no more sealing even tho the vacuum still worked. It took SIX WEEKS of back and forth emails (more than 20) to be approved for a new unit. I had to send multiple videos showing the malfunction. I'm sorry but WHAT? NEW UNIT WORKED ONLY ONCE. The day it arrived (July 6)and I tested it. Vacuum was also always on even if we just wanted to seal but think whatever. Today Aug 17 I've tried to use the replacement unita second time. And now that unit's heating element has also died. RUN AWAY FAST FROM THIS MODEL AND THIS COMPANY. NEITHER ARE WORTH YOUR MONEY OR YOUR TIME. If I could rate this with zero stars I would. ... show more

this vacuum sealer is great. Really good suction to remove the air. The top and the cutter blade are difficult to move. It may be because it is new. We had a problem with our sealer by the third time we used it. The manufacture was great and sent a new one. We were past our 30days with Amazon and the seller so I inquired with the manufacture. Very pleased. The unit works great now. The cutter is still a little flimsy but overall we like it and really impressed with the manufacture support. ... show more
