These are very nice frames - appear to be well made and I love that they have the little moveable clips on the back instead of those little foldable clips that break after a few on and off. My only complaint is I wanted wall frames, specifically, and these had the stand on the back so we had to break each and every one off so they would sit flat against the wall. Over the last year I’ve purchased 3 sets of the 4 pack 8x10 rustic gray picture frames. I loved the first set so much I came back for more. I have numerous family photos in the frames & they are impressive. I did wonder what type of material the frame was made of since I knew it wasn’t wood. After reading more into it’s engineered wood produced by MDF which stands for “medium-density fiberboard.” It’s denser than plywood. I don’t think most people would choose this type of wood for their kitchen cabinets but using it for a picture frame it has a beauty to it. The MDF with wood texture & veneer finish is perfect for a picture frame. I hope that helps in understanding what these are made of. I feel the veneer finish tops it off. As you can see in my pictures it’s truly beautiful. These frames are sturdy. The backing holds firmly into place. There’s no wiggle room. They come with hardware to hang which was easy to do. I feel these are of excellent quality for what I paid. I will purchase another set as I need more. I highly recommend these! ... show more
