    • It worked perfectly to hold a 0.030" drill bit.
This chuck is well made and worked great to hold a tiny 0.030" drill bit and drill a precise hole in carburetor to add a ported vacuum source. The bit did not slip and it spun true. Some people commented they can't get the chuck to open. I think they are making a mistake and trying to use some wrenches to open it when it's screwed on the dremmel tool shaft. You DO NOT OPEN it that way. You simply lock the tools shaft with the push-in lock button on the dremmel motor and unscrew the chuck by hand and it opens very easily. ... show more

Been using my dremels for 50 years and just bought this. 50 years of stupidity. These things are so much easier to deal with especially if you are changing bits often.

    • A must if you are changing bits on a rotary tool.
I used this on a rotary tool similar to a Drexel but not that brand. I am constantly changing polishing pads and using diamond paste for polishing at different grits. This chuck makes changing the bits much faster as I don't need to find the wrench. It grips very well and I can't see it having an issue gripping a bit unless I was using the tool in a rough manner. I got this to replace the so called quick change collet on my Ryobi rotary tool that sized after just one use. This chick works just like the one on a power drill and makes changing attachments on my Ryobi a breeze.
