I had low expectations, thought that they'd be cheap feeling but they're not. I'm pleasantly surprised. They're quite sturdy, the little clips the hold the backing in place are nice metal clips. And you can either hang it or stand it on a table both options are sturdy. Lastly, it's a super cute frame. I went with the gray option. We are using them to put my daughters senior pictures in to give out as Xmas gifts.

Over the last year I’ve purchased 3 sets of the 4 pack 8x10 rustic gray picture frames. I loved the first set so much I came back for more. I have numerous family photos in the frames & they are impressive. I did wonder what type of material the frame was made of since I knew it wasn’t wood. After reading more into it’s engineered wood produced by MDF which stands for “medium-density fiberboard.” It’s denser than plywood. I don’t think most people would choose this type of wood for their kitchen cabinets but using it for a picture frame it has a beauty to it. The MDF with wood texture & veneer finish is perfect for a picture frame. I hope that helps in understanding what these are made of. I feel the veneer finish tops it off. As you can see in my pictures it’s truly beautiful. These frames are sturdy. The backing holds firmly into place. There’s no wiggle room. They come with hardware to hang which was easy to do. I feel these are of excellent quality for what I paid. I will purchase another set as I need more. I highly recommend these!

I really like the frames... the glass is nice, so much better than plastic/fake glass. However, the mounting hardware these came with is TERRIBLE. The little plastic pieces you hammer into the wall would not allow the frames to sit flat against the wall, and I couldn't level them either... I ended up having to pry the plastic pieces out of the wall and use my own nails. Also, I had to carefully rip off the cardboard kickstand thing on the back (what you would use if you were standing the frame up on a table, for example). That cardboard part goes all the way to the outside edge of the frame causing it to have an awkward and crooked gap behind the frame when you put it on the wall. A lot of frustration to get them to work the way they should! But ultimately happy with the end result.

I ordered these twice. First time came without a box and one frame had a large scratch in it. Replacement came today. But one corner of each of the 4 frames was damaged and had a gap in where the frame edges meet. No one’s fault but something to be aware of if you’re on a time crunch. :(
