This is as pictured, well made, very minimal shedding. I have a few of these jute rugs and love them. The jute is easy to clean and vacuum. There are a few loose ends but I hope with time they won’t stick out. Unrolled it and it laid flat Withingham 24 hours. No stinky odors.

Had it now for a year. Walk on it with boots. Spill things on it. Stretch it in in different directions. Fireplace shoots sparks on it. No problems. Love it. (Do get a screen for the fireplace, though.)

We’ve had this rug for a couple years now. It matches the esthetic of our living room and had done the job. It doesn’t show dirt or stain but dirt does fall through the rug since it’s woven. You have to remove the rug to vacuum everything up underneath it. After awhile it does start to get some gears and fraying. Again, we’ve had it for a couple years now so that’s sort of to be expected. For the price it’s definitely worth it but if you’re looking for a nice rug I’d pass ... show more

Overall, very pleased with the rug. I needed it to cover the floor to prevent my elderly dogs from slipping on the hardwood + give my cat something to scratch, ie I bought it not expecting to own it for a long time. It does the job and it’s not super ugly. At first, we were frustrated with it bubbling up like in other reviews but with time, a little bit of stretching, and a rug pad, the rug fibers relaxed and it laid flat. Once the fibers relaxed, it measured true to size of 6’ round. We saved a little bit of money by buying a 5’ rug pad and it works fine. I deducted a star for two reasons: 1. Since it is a natural fiber I expected some imperfection but this rug has a lot. Dark bits, fraying, and frizzing. If I had bought this purely for home decor I would be disappointed 2. Very hard to clean. My dog pooped on it and it squeezed into every nook and cranny. I used enzymatic cleaner and a q-tip to get the bulk of it but ended up wet vac-ing, which help, but the brush of the wet vac caused the rug to fray and frizz even more. I finally used a bleach solution since a stain remained. I have a cream rug but I would rather have a slight bleach stain than a brown one. ... show more

I just purchased a new sofa and needed a rug to tie the room together. This jute rug couldn’t be any more perfect. I love the look like and receive many many compliments. I have a robotic vacuum cleaner that works well over the rug. It is certainly not as soft as carpet or a plush rug, but it feels pretty good under foot. I don’t think it will show dirt easily. am very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend this rug If this is the look you are trying to achieve. The media could not be loaded. I waited long enough to get this rug, and finally delivery day, it never showed... not an issue from the product itself I guess... the cardboard on inside for it to be rolled on, snapped so the rug was not only large and heavy, but flimsy, so USPS decided to say screw it and had me pick up. Once I got it home, I had previously measured and wanted this to be wall to wall for under my dining table, which the room is 10' exactly, so when I unrolled it, and the rug could curl up on either side of the wall, I was a bit frustrated. The product does say, individually handwoven so sizing may have slight variations, however, an about 6" difference is quite significant if you ask me. So I had to rewrap the rug and take it for return.. really wanted to keep that one than the one I had to order in replace of but 🤷♀️ oh well. ... show more
