I like this cap, but don’t really think of it as a traditional running cap. It has 8 panels, which makes it look like a traditional ball cap (4 of the panels are really just half size, so it looks like a 6 panel cap). Panels in running caps are typically arranged with a single flat panel running horizontally across the front, but this is the “everything meets at the top” panel design. It’s made of lightweight nylon, but it’s still quite a bit thicker than my other running caps. The bill is shorter, which I don’t mind. Sizing is pretty accurate. It’s listed as 58-60, but it’s probably closer to 57-60. Quality of construction is decent, although there are a few dropped stitches here and there. I’d suggest taking a close look at the hat to determine if the styling is what you want. If it is, then you’ll likely be happy with it.

I've worn this hat in 70 degree temps and it does a great job at wicking sweat and cooling my head off, despite being pitch black in color (which usually gets hotter than other colors). And it has a great style too, which is a bonus. It fits my rather large-ish head well. It ought to last through a good number of washes, given its material type(s), which is definitely what you want for a workout hat. And the brim isn't too stiff either, so if you need to stuff the hat into a bag, it should be able to flex some. Nice deal!

The crown (bucket part) of this cap is too deep for a small headed woman. On a smaller head the deep bucket makes the cap come down at least to mid-ear height, resulting in the brim blocking vision in front of the wearer. Not very useful if you plan on running forward. The circumference of the cap can be modified with a Velcro strip. On me, when I have it drawn down small enough to fit/stay put the hook part of the tape will only touch other hook tape. Basically it doesn’t allow me to adjust to a small enough size. I do own and wear other UPF running caps made for women, and these fit issues don’t occur with those. Nice color, fabric seems appropriately breathable for fitness/sweaty type activities, brim seems too long. All in all, it was a no-go.

I really want to like this hat. I like the weight, and style, but I have to pull the adjustable strap really tight for it to fit my smaller head. Perhaps would be more appropriate for a man. Or perhaps I have a very small head.

As I am preparing for an event, I needed a hat that I can wear so that I'm not sweat dumping into my daily wear caps. This cap is very light weight, feels comfortable, and is made of moisture wicking material. The build quality feels good and stitching seems to be done well. Overall, it feels nice and does the job!
