You have to remove the rug to vacuum everything up underneath it. After awhile it does start to get some gears and fraying. I needed a good neutral rug for my office. Patterned rugs would make it feel to small so the rug glows protect my floors without adding too much weight or visual distraction. The rug is require soft for a braided rug of this type. It’s a bit slippery on a wood floor so you definitely need a rug pad to hold it in place. It sheds badly and when the kids kneel or sit on the rug,the fibers shed onto their clothes. Even on the DOG! It hides dirt really well too, but you have to vacuum daily. I was going to return it,but my caregivers said they liked it and will vacuum it daily!

Bought the round rug for my living room. I have 3 cats and they all drag themselves along the surface and it's in pristine condition. You can vacuum and carpet clean (lightly). Had it since 2019. Will be buying more of this brand to use instead of carpet.

This rug is beautiful. I got it in a 9x12 size for my family room that opposes my kitchen. My bottom kitchen cabinets are black so I wanted to pick up that color in the room next to the kitchen. I was hesitant because it was so dark, I never bought a black rug, but WOW! This is really beautiful!! I have light color plank flooring and light walls so this is a really nice contrast to those colors. I got this for an AMAZING price too!! The only thing is that it will shed when opened, you have to vacuum alot, but once thats done it is really easy to clean. And it’s the funniest thing. It showed up smelling super musty. Idk what it saw in its past life but I asked my fiancé to come in and smell our room when I rolled it out and he said “it smells like when you’re on a class field trip and you go to like a pioneer or early settlers exhibit” and being from the Great Plains, can confirm this ish stink like a Lewis and Clark exhibit at the zoo.
