I got this coat for my husband who is 85 and still out there every day working in sales. He gets cold very easily so I wanted something to keep him really warm. He loves this coat. He says it's very warm and has lots of pockets for his essentials. The only negative about this coat for us is that the hood is not removable. Other than that, it's a great coat. Very warm and the length is a bit longer than some of his other coats and parkas which is a plus. Highly recommend this coat if you are looking for something that will keep you warm when the temps dips into the single digits to the 30's. Very well made, comfortable, fits nice. Fabric is sturdy but still nice enough to wear on casual outings ( not "industrial" looking). Big deep side pockets with flaps hold keys, phone, small packages securely and comfortable. Definitely very warm. I've only worn when the temperature was 20-25 degrees F, and it was almost too hot. Snorkel hood is terrific for when it really snows and blows, but is out of the way and good looking when not in use. I bought this for a Christmas gift for my husband. We are Californians heading to NYC for a February vacation, and also we do intend to move (back) to colder climates soon. The jacket is warm and heavy. He liked the design, although he seemed a bit ambivalent towards the fur. The heather charcoal color is really nice! However, we had to do a return and replace. I was considering his orangutan arms, and that he would be wearing heavier clothing under the parka. I erred on the side of caution and bought him a large (he’s 6’0”, about 170?). He was swimming in it. It did fit his arms, but in the torso it was just HUGE. As in, two of him could fit in it, maybe not comfortably, but easily. We sent it back and he picked out the bomber style jacket like this one in a medium and it was also a little roomy, but it will be fine if he wears a thicker shirt under it. Obviously he’s not a large guy, but I do feel like these jackets are a bit oversized. In my experience, most people buy outerwear a size up because of the previously mentioned reasons, but the large was just SO large. I think it could have easily fit my dad, who is about 5’10” and in the 200 lb region. And I say that knowing my dad doesn’t pay attention to fit and absolutely wears things that are too tight because he won’t buy the XL. So, great jacket. This is one of the best looking winter jackets I've ever owned. It is very warm (especially in windy weather) and stylish. I am about 5 ft 10 and 184 lbs with broad shoulders and it fits me very well. The only complain is that the hood is too big. When I put it on, it covers my face and eyes, making it difficult to see. Fit wonderfully. I am 6'2 around 185lbs with an athletic build + broad shoulders and this fits great. Anyone under 6ft should probably go with a medium as this Large is..well..Large! With this style of coat though - that is a good thing. Standing up straight the bottom fits right below the pants crotch level. Please read the other reviews of this product as well as I found them helpful. -Buttons/Zipper are classy. -The logo on the left arm is classy as well and displays the Tommy logo well. -Fur does not look fake at all and is detachable -Arm length actually fits me . This jacket is perfect I love it it’s super warm and comfortable. I will say the size runs big though. I ordered a large and it fits like a XL but it’s fine
