I bought this having 3 kids a dog and a cat for easy cleaning. I have to say....it was put thru a major test this week. My dog was sick. I came home to find vomit and diarrhea on this rug and another washable rug that's a different brand. I cleaned them as best as I could with dawn dish soap and vinegar/ water spray. Rugs had to wait till next day for trip to laundry mat. Both rugs were easy to wash and dry, I couldn't really inspect them at laundry mat because I think owner would cuss me out for washing huge rugs in machines not realizing their washable, but when I got home and laid them out. ... this was had zero stains which shocked me being pretty much white. Colors: The “grey” rug is more IVORY/WHITE background with NAVY print. Fabric: Very soft, but everything sticks to it. It’s made out of material like those fuzzy socks. Feels strange to walk on and literally everything sticks to it like a magnet, not like cotton that you can just vacuum. Even my Dyson has trouble vacuuming it. Washing/Drying: Washes well, simple stains seem to come out easily. Drying however- forget it. Even on low/no heat, the rubber starts falling apart. Didn’t happen the first time but the second and third time filled my dryer with this rubber dust. NASTY!! Then it gets all over the floor. Rubber backing is awesome because it doesn’t slip around, corners stay flat. I really want to love this rug more than I do. I haven’t tried any other washable rugs to compare. ... show more

I’ve washed this a dozen times. It’s thin, but more comfortable than the cold tile floor for littles and is so easy to throw in the washing machine when it needs to be cleaned. I lay it flat to dry and it dries quickly. I recently had a thread pull that made a 5 inch by 1 inch indention, but after a dozen washes, 2 dogs and 5 kids, I’m still very happy with it. ... show more

Very difficult to clean daily. It’s soft but feels like microfiber material so if you have rough skin it sticks to the rug. We have pets and I would not say it’s practical for wanting to vacuum dog hair daily. I have to use a broom and even that doesn’t work To get all the hair off. I’ve tried two different vacuums and on the lowest setting and they are still too powerful. ... show more

    • Dog hair magnet and impossible to vacuum

I’ve had the rug for less than 2 months and it looks like we’ve had it for years. It attracts all dust and hair and is so light weight that it gets caught in the brush of a vacuum so hair must be removed by hand, definitely not a great trade off for being machine washable.

We put this in our sons room after we put hard floors in. It is just the right amount of cushion for Lego building. It seems durable, although I have not seen Asher it yet: we did get the underpad for it and I would also recommend that!
