We were so happy to get this rug but within a few washes it is faded, curled at the edges (so dangerous) and is still dirty even when washed. Wish I had known all this within my return window. Terrible product

We have a white kitchen with matte black hardware and light fixtures and I love the way this rug carries that black and white theme into the dining room area that was a bit mismatched with random chairs and wood stuff. It really went a long way to freshen our dining area up with some crisp white stripes and make it look a little more modern. The one drawback I see is that it’s packaged folded up with creases in it. Even when spread out with chairs and tables on it those creases are still there and going strong and it doesn’t seem to want to flatten. I’m hoping that with a little time and use it will smooth out on it’s own. But if creases on it might bother somebody a little more type A they might need to take a hand steamer to it as an extra step to factor in. It’s also a tad on the thin side, but this is fine for me. I like that it can be easily moved and in the case of this one- WASHED in the MACHINE. I don’t have any other machine wash rugs that aren’t small throw rug size, so this was an exciting find for something I definitely wanted under where we eat. I 100% plan to wash this regularly once the little kids get ahold of it. I really hated how a regular rug needed to be hand spot treated on my hands and knees- this seems way better to just let a machine do that work for me. I love the look of a rug under a table, but with lots of little toddlers and kids whatever I put under the kitchen table gets trashed. I love that this can be folded up and stuffed into a washer machine and then hung to dry over my banister and back on the floor it goes. The reverse side has some non-skid dots so it’s not super slippery, but the place I have it that’s not as much an issue with a table on it. It does get caught on chairs and tries to scrunch up when pushing in and out though. This is a pain, as the rug I had there before was a heavier, more standard style flat rug with a ridged back and the chairs didn’t catch on it the way this does. It means I have to pick up the chairs and then lay them down on top of the rug instead of sliding them in (and my kids can’t really get the hang of that as well). I do wish it was heavier when laying down so that chairs could not scrunch it as much- but I may try a rug pad under and see if that helps with that complaint, as it does suggest a rug pad over hardwoods anyways. I’d also easily trade annoying corners that scrunch in order to wash the rug any day of the week with babies and toddlers getting baby pouch stains and yogurt and ketchup everywhere regularly. It does say if a stain is persistent it can be professionally cleaned. It’s very lightweight and easy enough for one person to maneuver and get into place alone. Overall I’d recommend it.

Ever since we finished our basement we've gotten a lot more traffic and subsequently needed a lot more rugs. We had a shag rug that caught all kinds of dirt. It was clear we needed something thinner. The problem with this rug is that it's almost TOO thin. It will take time to smooth out the bumps from it being folded, but it's quite thin. Worse, it came with some stains in the folded corners. Not a huge deal as you can wash it out, but I expect a carpet like this to be pristine on arrival. The pattern is okay, but looks almost blue rather than gray in yellow light.
