I got this rug to accompany our bathroom palette, which are cool grays and whites. The rug in the photos looks a lot cooler than the one received, which is more cream in color and warmer-hued. I really do love the area rug. Be warned that if not for coffee table it’s near impossible to get the ripples out. I also ordered 2 runners and several weeks later the ripples are still there. There is carpet tape on all corners. Just not budging. I have always had runners and never had this problem. ... show more

I'm not sure about cold water but the hot water seems to "melt" under the carpet which makes it crinkle. This also might cause someone to trip. I threw the larger carpet away which was worse than this, smaller carpet. Other than that, the carpet was great!

I own about 5 of these in different sizes because the pattern is nice and modern and they are of decent quality for the price. They are extremely thin and hard but if you just want a cheap high traffic area rug that looks nice, it's the best I've found for that. Wish it was plush and soft but it is what it is ... show more

I’ve had this rug for about six months now. The rug is really cute and I like the design however, the rug will not lay down flat. I’ve tried to rotate the rug. I’ve attempted to lay books on top of the world, even went as far as putting a table upside down on the rug, and it will always reverts back to having a large hump in the middle of the rug.
