Great 1st Rug

Background: I am a single guy. My ex wife used to do most of the décor. This is my fist rug purchase, ever. I did not know the in's and out's of what to expect or how to buy a rug. I knew the size I wanted, 3'x5'. This product is 3 ft 3 in x 5 ft, and I knew it was going to be a little larger than the area I wanted to put it in. But all the other rugs I looked at did not have the color, size, style or packaging that I wanted. Therefore, I had to put a little bit under furniture. Shipping time was decent. I knew upfront that there was going to be a small delay. It was shipped within the stated time frame and arrived when I expected it to. It shipped rolled up. This is a BIG plus because so many reviews had the rugs folded over. I did not want to deal with getting rid of creases. There are NO creases in this rug because it shipped rolled up. The packaging was good, I presume. It had what I recognized as medical shoe booties on the ends of the roll and tight plastic wrapping. As far as I can ascertain, there was zero shipping damage. Unpacking was easy and within 24 hours it was laying flat for the most part. There is one corner that is still up a little, but it is slowly getting flat with no assistance. There was a "chemical" smell that dissipated really quick, a couple hours or so. It smelled like all the other new carpets I have smelled in the past. The corners are straight and appear 90 degrees. There are no curves in the corners. There is no apparent fraying or loose strands. There are a few strands that are slightly longer throughout the rug. If this is not meant to be, I like it, adds character. Those strands are not loose. Weaving appears consistent and tight. I do have 2 wonderful kitty cats that immediately thought this rug was for them. I had to inform them that they are not to scratch the rug (I will see how THAT works). So, any future loose strands could be from my cats and not defects. When the "chemical" smell dissipated, they both seemed to ignore the rug. The only "con" I have is the actual size. This is why I prefaced this review with my background. This may be how the industry works (like lumber having a nominal and actual size). The actual rug area, not the edges are 3 ft 3 in x 5 ft. The edges add about 3/8" to the size. For my situation, it does not matter. I am considering this something new I have learned. In fact, I am glad the actual rug area is actually 3 ft 3 in x 5 ft. The rug is soft, which is a characteristic I was looking for. The pictures represent the pattern and colors accurately. Durability and cleaning I cannot comment on...yet. When situations and issues arise, I will update this review.

Good area rug

Love this carpet but be mindful as to where you place it because it does get dirty easily. I’ve shampooed it several times and the pile comes back each time. But in hindsight I should have purchased a different color for that area, too much foot traffic.

Great rug for a great price.
I love this rug. It’s soft, much more plush than I expected, easy to vacuum, and it looks just like the picture. It’s on the medium pile side; not too short and not so long that it’s hard to clean. Despite the low price, it does not seem like a cheap/low quality rug at all. It looks pretty classy and it really ties our modern style interior together. If I remember correctly, I’m pretty sure the rug came a day or two early as well. It did have a bit of a factory smell when we first got it, but it dissipated after a few days. If you’re sensitive to smell, you might want to try airing it out before setting it inside. Our entire living room smelled a bit chemically for a bit, but nothing unbearable. Big plus for pet friendly homes. The only ones who love this rug more than I do are my dogs. Our dogs LOVE laying on this thing so much, and I don’t blame them. I would definitely order this rug again.

Love it!
Perfect area rug, great price. I needed an inexpensive rug to cover up the old, stained carpet in my daughter's room. I went with an inexpensive one because I have a teenager, two cats and a dog, and even expensive area rugs don't stay pristine for long. When the rug was delivered I was worried because although it was packed perfectly, it was rolled with the shaggy part on the inside and the backing on the outside. I was afraid it would take forever to stay flat. Yet, after 3 hours of airing out in the living room it had flattened out almost 100%, all the wrinkles were gone and it's fluffy. I put it up in my daughter's room already because the smell is very faint, and it's only "new rug" smell, for good reason - it's a new rug! No bother at all. I put some dumbbells on the corners for now just to make sure they stay down, other than that it is good to go, and cat approved already! Definitely recommendable. The color is cream and very light brown.

Good rug but with crooked edges
The look and quality of the rug is good, with one exception. While the edges run in a straight line on 2 opposing sides, the other 2 opposing sides are bowed about 1-2 inches so they don't look straight against the perfectly straight edges of the hardwood floors. No amount of flattening and attempts at stretching the rug would correct it. Not very good QC for a rug costing in excess of $200. I might have considered sending it back, but decided not to after what we went through to finally get this needed rug. Amazon and/or UPS lost the first one, so it took from the 8/25 original order until 9/16 to actually receive this rug even though the original order was supposed to arrive on 9/3. It irked me that when I notified Amazon of non-receipt of the original order, there was no attempt to expedite a replacement. It actually took longer for the replacement to arrive than the original would have, and "there was nothing they could do to expedite it because only standard shipping was available". Very convenient excuse when they obviously have other means to ship orders. They offered a whole $5 credit "for our troubles", which never materialized. Amazon really falling down on the job with several orders over the last year. What's going on?!

Bought this with the intention of it fitting under our dining table. It fit perfectly but the softness isn't there. Wish the description was more clear on the fluffiness and softness. Would have loved for it to be softer and thicker. Haven’t had to clean it as we just received it a couple of days ago. Would have been nice if the price was lower but a round rug is so hard to come by and one that is in stock and available right away. As of now, we have learned to like it and it works with our color scheme. It did come perfectly wrapped and secured. Always worry if it will be an issue when shipping to us as we hope not to have to return it.

Like this carpet, quality is good, colors true.
This is not a plush carpet, but it is perfect when you don’t want to be tripping on it. Bought it for in front of double sinks in master bath, perfect fit, stays put and is very soft. You could put a pad under it if one needed it to feel more cushiony, but not good for us walking to the bathroom in the dark. I would not use this in a high traffic area, won’t last through rain and snow or beach sand. Very happy with this purchase.
