Let me first say that I have purchased numerous rugs over the last few years- mostly due to pets and children. I usually purchase from Homesense/Home Goods, get a good deal and good quality. THIS RUG IS AWESOME! I truly couldn’t beat the price and the quality is great! The rug could use a pad under it, it’s a tad thin, however it is super soft under foot. So far I love this rug (and so does my old lady dog). I used a Mohawk Home Grip Lock Rug Gripper White 9' x 12' Rug Pad https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09NQNGTWD/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_GZQDECJY4HS9ZKN4XNNX?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 to go underneath and couldn't be happier. I will update when I have to clean it, but so far it's soft and beautiful and seems like it will hold up well! Update 12/16/24: My Sophie dog passed away. 🥺 But she had a spot she laid in for the entire time. I will say that the rug does wear in a way that makes it look dingy. I shampooed the rug multiple times, but dog claws and bones being chewed on the rug cause the loops to unravel a bit. I ended up flipping the rug around so that the worn part is under the couch and the "good side" is now in front...looks new again. I would still 100% buy again. I get lots of complements on this rug. However, next time I'll get a more padded underlayment. Hope this helps! ... show more

This rug is so soft and lays flat instantly. it was in perfect condition and had no weird smells. I think with it being thinner it helps everything stay flat during packaging bc I didn't even have a tassel out of place, it was that perfect. i got the beige and gray in a 9 by 12, its more creamy ivory than beige which works for my decor. it's hard to find a rug big enough to go the whole width of our huge couch at a decent price. this was 223 so a better price than most. it's only been a few days but with 6 pets, 2 being heavy dogs that run and play hard it's held up fine. the gray through out it and the design in the shag is subtle and not to busy. the gray matches our couch, floors and wallpaper just as i imaged so it's very similar to the photos shown in the advertising and the other reviews photos. you're getting what you see for sure and it's worth the money. ... show more

My rug was delivered yesterday. I haven’t got it into place yet because I need help and my husband is out of town but I LOVE it already. It is sooo soft. It is a little thinner than I would like but the softness more than makes up for it. The colors are perfect and exactly as pictured. If you’re debating about getting this rug or not, JUST DO IT!! I moved into a new home and was trying to find the perfect rug for our living room. I had this sitting in my cart for over a week. I was a little worried about the tassels being a in higher traffic area so I kept shopping for other options. I searched every inch of the internet and did not find a rug I loved more than this one. Unfortunately, I waited too long and it went out to stock. I was heartbroken. So I waited another week and it came back in stock and I bought it! Super fast shipping, came within 2 days of ordering. No weird smell. I got the 9 x 12. I will say, the dimensions on the actual rug are at 8’10” x 12, which was not as described on the listing. So be aware of that. The first picture I took was right after it was unrolled, so it still had a few creases. The second picture was the next day and it is laying flat now! This is hands down the best rug I’ve ever bought. It’s very soft and the “beige” is definitely more “white” which I’m fine with. Let’s hope the tassels hold up over time. I did buy a rug pad for underneath, specifically designed to not ruin my LVP. I still need to cut it down to size. I am so happy I waited for this rug and went for it. ... show more

Ok decided to update my review. A few years ago initially a month in the carpet had a strong odor but after a few months if did fade. So now that I am at the 2 year mark I decided that I wanted to update as I moved and the rug is in my new home. It truly has held up and for that I will give it a 5 star rating. It also is attractive and softens the room. I spent roughly two weeks searching for a good rug. I have had my share of junk and decided to spend the money for something more quality and I am glad I did. In the past my rugs last only a year before they show wear. Due to the construction and quality of this rug it shows no wear pattern where you walk and I can see it easily going several more years. Back when I had it on my wood I ordered a foam and rubber backed thick padding and it worked great. In my new home on top of a rug it would slide so I took that rubber backed pad and put it under this over the carpet. It holds it perfect without buckling or movement. I think the majority of my home is done with amazon products and I am thankful that I can get them delivered to my door as I never have luck finding these items in a big box store. So my honest thought is if you are thinking about it wondering if it is quality the answer is yes. And trust me, I take a lot of time reading reviews and researching because money is not easy to part with. ... show more
