The rug is great at this price point, only shedding is when vacuumed early on. No shedding onto socks or surface. Very beautiful. My problem was the shipper Amazon used in my metro. They were beyond aggravating, it took me a month to get this rug, they lost it at first, then it was reordered with many mishaps. Amazon compensated me with $200 of Amazon which I appreciate. Made things right. Rug is beautiful, Amazon helpful, shipping horrible.

I was anxiously awaiting the arrival of this rug for my newly decorated living room. Imagine my horror when I removed this rug from packaging and unrolled it? It's horribly stained. I don't know if it's just dirt, mold, or what? Absolutely disgusting and disappointing. The standards and guidelines of products for Amazon participation is slipping. Now, I have to repackage and get it out for return---Great. What a waste of my time and money. I will be posting this complaint and pics on social media page.

Absolutely adore this area rug! If you understand what a wool rug entails and how to care for it before you order; you won’t be disappointed. This elevated our room and created such a cozy and wonderful environment. It isn’t itchy and there is not too much shedding (some is expected with natural wool). The natural fibers also include a slight variety of colors, but it doesn’t change the overall shade of white. I would highly recommend!

It’s a beautiful rug but sheds like crazy! It shed to the point where my throat was constantly itching. Take my word, it is not worth the hassle. We ended up replacing it and can breath easily now sheesh!

I read reviews of the rug before I purchased and it was a mixed bag. You either love it or hate it but one thing everyone agreed to was the shedding. OMG the shedding. I've owned this rug for 6 months. And my Roomba vacuums 3 times a week and still gets full of this carpet fiber. I've also hand vacuumed with a Dyson dozens of times and it gets full. I just have no idea how this can still resemble are rug after all the shedding after 6 months, but it does. Literally the worst rug you can buy.

I love the look and feel of the rug. I bought a 8'6" x 11'6" for my family room and it adds a layer of sophistication and warmth. It looks great and I love the wool texture and the bit of flecks throughout the rug make it even more unique. Yes, it sheds like everyone else reports, but vacuum it right away and often and the shedding becomes less and less. My only complaint so far is the musty smell of the rug. I read reviews and had an expectation that it may have an odor. I don't have the ability to keep it out in the sun our outdoors so I am going to try some recommendations from other buyers and hope that over time the smell dissipates. As of right now, this is a great rug for the money.

This rug sheds short fibers. We are down on the rug all the time, this is a mess, short white fibers on everything. Vacuumed it multiple times, tried to brush it to see if it would stop. It just keeps shedding. Very disappointed in this rug.

I wanted to love this rug. It was so soft, easy to clean and looked great…. But that stops the positives. We vacuumed this rug every day for two weeks and it almost filled the canister EVERY time. I don’t understand how it lost so much and never looked patchy or thin in places. We could not sit on the rug because we would be covered in white fuzz. The rug was also incredibly misshapen. The edges were no where near straight, no matter what we did to flatten/stretch it, it never had straight edges. The biggest positive of the rug was it somehow managed to stay clean/stain free with a large dog in the home. If we received a straight rug the didn’t shed on everything I would have absolutely kept this and probably ordered more.
