The standard size of a 7-in LCD screen radio headset is too short to fill the area and the trim. Standard metal brackets are one inch short and cannot mount inside the dash of a Dodge Grand caravan or Chrysler Town and country. The brackets fill the space. The way these spacers are molded they live a huge gap on both side of the radio. I did not want these gaps. I took some measurements and bought1/2-inch (13mm) thick black neoprene foam which came in 4-in blocks with adhesive on one side. The foreign size only have to be trimmed a little to fit in the length. Then I tucked it inside the arch and carefully cut next to the filler. The cutting to size with a sharp utility knife blade straightforward. It took a couple of attempts to cut a close fitting filler. See photos.
