Read the directions
Bought this with high hopes for nugget (soft, chewable) ice. On that it eventually delivered it consistently. Directions say after delivery set it up without plugging in and let it sit for 24 hours. Check. 2nd day let ice maker run all day frequently moving ice to sides to avoid the "full" light coming on. Ice chute to bin is in the center. When it fills up to the chute, the "full" light comes on. Left it full when we went to bed. In morning unit was running like it was making ice but in fact ice had frozen at top of chute and wouldn't come out. Read troubleshooting, turn off for 24 hours. Not looking good. 3rd day restarted, cleared chute during day, fill about once every 24 hours, only 2 of us using ice during day. Went to bed with full bin again and ice maker has run fine day in day out for 5 days. Jury still out on how long it lasts. Love the results.

Ice machine
This was a disappointing purchase . I would not call the ice nugget ice. The ice is so wet and melts immediately. I would be really unhappy if I paid full price for this . If you are looking for a countertop ice machine keep looking . It does make ice fast but like I mentioned it melts immediately.

not ice nuggets, only crushed ice!
It says it makes nugget ice but it only makes small crushed ice! so deceptive. If your planning on using it to store in freezer or put in a cooler in the car. This will not be ideal and they will melt fast!

Do not buy!
Had to get a replacement because it was leaking out of the bottom, even though all the plugs were in. Had the replacement for about five months now and today just stopped producing ice and it’s just producing an and it’s just producing an high-pitched screeching sound. Plus, the replacement is constantly leaking from the bottom also!!
