Now, my story. I received this unit, opened the box and let it set while I went to work. The directions say to let it set upright for a couple of hour (I saw one that said it should be sitting upright for 10 hours). No poblem. When I came back, I unpacked and set it up in the same spot as my old ice maker. The cord seemed to be shorter, and so I plugged it in and stretched the cord. The cord was just long enough. However, by plugging in the machine, the unit went through a check and prepared to make ice. I had not put water into it. No problem. I wiped it out and filled it with filtered water and pushed the power button....and nothing happened. I unplugged it and replugged it in, and the lights came on, but no "making ice" light. It would not even reset. So, I went searching everywhere on information on how to do a factory reset. I sent an email to the manufacturer, and sent a message on their web site. No response. How difficult can it be? Has to be some trick to it. So, I pushed the clean and the power button at the same time. Well, it cleaned. That takes a couple of hours. When that was done, I pushed the power button again, but no luck. By the way, the power button has no real tactile response, and so I do now know if I was really pushing the button properly. I tried holding in the power button, hit the power button multiple times thinking that there was a code. After I came back from work, I was wondering if I had put out over $200 for a dud, but I did not give up. I unplugged the unit and pushed the power button and plugged it in at the same time. The panel flashed twice. I got a result, but when I pushed the power button, it still did not light up "making ice." I tried it again with the same result. After a third time, the panel did not light up. I pushed the power button, and SUCCESS!!! The "making ice" light came on and it started working. Only one time has it stopped working. It whined and pumped out water. The compressor was not turning on. I unplugged it and plugged it back in, crossed my fingers, and the compressor kicked on and it continued making ice. Once the ice maker started working, it works really well. This unit makes a lot of ice in a short amount of time, and it keeps making ice until it is filled to the top. It makes more ice than what we need. Love the small pellets. I filled a freezer bag in one day, and that was after filling mugs. So, it is a great unit. We will see if it last long.

I bought this ice maker because my freezer is always packed, and it has been a great addition to my kitchen. It makes plenty of nugget ice throughout the day, so I never have to worry about running out when making cold drinks. The ice texture is soft and crunchy, just like the ice you get at restaurants. Setup was quick, and the self-cleaning feature makes maintenance easy. It does make some noise while producing ice, but it’s quieter than I expected and not bothersome at all. Overall, this machine has made summer drinks so much more enjoyable, and I love not having to rely on my crowded freezer anymore. Highly recommend!

I love the ice that comes out! Slightly crunchy but chewy, easy on your teeth. It works super fast and fills up in a short time. Every once in awhile it will make a low groaning noise but otherwise it’s pretty quiet. Definitely recommend.

I absolutely Love my new ice machine. It makes ice all day long if I want it to. The pebble ice is soft and chewy. I also received the bags so I can put bags of ice in the freezer for later. They also sent some packets to clean your ice machine, you will also receive a metal ice scoop. It makes plenty of ice. I haven't gotten to clean my new machine but I'm sure it will be easy, at least I hope so 👍🙂
