I rarely write amazon reviews, but I'm ordering a second pair of these for my work computer right now and I think they're worth a review. The USB version is definitely worth it if you need to fine tune your volume control, for example if you have hyperacusis or auditory sensitivity. It allows me to turn the volume of voice chats up and down really easily with the wheel and basically gives me a larger dynamic range than I would typically have with other headphones (I can lower the volume a bunch on the headphones itself, which lets me make more incremental sound adjustments when I'm playing a game or chatting with someone). The sound quality is surprisingly decent for the price as well (I mostly play video games and listen to youtube videos or TV shows). It's been at least a year since I bought these headphones and they still work somehow. The only annoying thing is that if you already have a microphone that you like (the microphone quality on this is not the reason to buy it, it's not good at all), then the microphone can be in the way a lot. I actually bend the microphone backwards and tape the microphone to the back of the headset (along the headphone circles) so it's out of my way (the tape needs to be replaced every month or so). Also the headphones are seriously comfortable to wear for me! I've worn a ton of different headphones, and if you have a small head like I do they are very comfortable - there's no way to adjust the height but there's some wiggle room due to the metal band design. I would say a small-medium head size would work with them. I'm also able to put my glasses on top of the earphones and the angle isn't too steep for that and it doesn't give me tension headaches or eye strain. If you have an astigmatism though you may not be able to set the glasses on the earphones like I do. But I can still see through my glasses like that. If you're looking for some decent headphones and want a wide range of volume control and aren't planning on using the microphone for anything, I definitely recommend these, especially if you get pain/pressure on your head from other headphones and need to wear headphones for several hours a day. Make sure you have some tape though if you want the microphone to be out of the way when you're wearing them (I've thought about cutting the microphone off but I figure it might be nice to have a backup microphone just in case). tldr; Super duper comfortable, decent headphones, mediocre microphone (don't buy it for the mic), and has amazing volume control and increases dynamic range a ton which is great for someone like me who has hyperacusis/auditory sensitivity. ... show more

They sound okayish, I'm happy with that, but they continually disconnect and reconnect when plugged into my PS5. This doesn't occur when plugged into my Mac or my work's PC, just the PS5, however no other headset does that to my PS5. If I remove the USB section of the cable and use the aux jack on the controller, the issue doesn't occur. It's annoying but tbh I bought these for work primarily, just thought I've give them a shot on the PS5. Also the microphone; if it were removable I would like it a whole lot better. It's just always sitting there in my peripheral which is annoying too (but not a deal breaker at this price). ... show more

It's very comfortable for the price, however it picks up every possible sound. I work on a sales floor, and people can hear ever conversation within 25 feet of me clear a bell. I'm returning and getting something with more of a filter.

I bought the USB version for use in gaming on the computer, and talking on a cordless house phone. For $18 used, I have no regrets. If I paid $30? well the lack of any swivel on the ear-cups means you'll need to bend the frame to your needs and hope that solves the un-even pain points on the clamp. Which I did manage to do. If you can get it comfortable, then I'd say it's worth the $30-40 new. Because of this flaw though, my son tried it and thinks it hurts. I however, would rate this as comfortable for 12 hours after the fix, and only get's slightly warm. Without the fix, well the front of the ear cups towards my mouth were putting too much pressure on, and I would have needed a refund. The speaker and mic sound it ok, not great but i've heard far worse before. Mic gets plenty loud enough if needed, and can be swung out of the way to keep breathing and plosives down. Mic sounds fine, could def be used for recording a decent YT vid in a pinch. Does what I need for the house phone too. ... show more

Id like to say that these are pretty rugged. I pack and unpack these to bring with me almost every day. They are a bit bulky but theyve held up well. This is my first pair and I think they are pretty good. I tend to use these ones over my wireless set. For comfort i have no complaints i can wear these for a long time and they dont bother my ears. I wear glasses and my other pair tends to push them into the side of my head and ears. The mic works well, sound quality is good. I like that you can mute it with the little remote and adjust volume too. Perfect for when you want to yell at the kids but dont want your gaming buddies to hear ya. lol jk but i suppose it could be true. ... show more

I already had the base model N7 that do not have the virtual surround. I bought the newer model because I wanted the surround sound feature. This headset is by far the most comfortable set I have ever worn. The sound is good and my ears dont get sore from the padding. Great value ! My original headphones still work like a charm but the earpieces torn up because I put wet hair on them. Note : The software is required for the surround sound and its a RAR type file. Not to mention that the website is in Thai. WinRaR is free to download and try so its not a big problem , just a pain to have to use. ... show more

The quality of these is subpar. The part that goes over your ears is so wide, it does not sit flat on your head. There are gaps at the top of each ear because the cups are pushed out. My head is on the larger side, so I cannot imagine what this would be like for someone smaller. Also, the part that holds the microphone cannot be either moved out of the way or moved down in front of your mouth. If just sort of hovers in the middle, neither getting out of the way nor acting as a good microphone. ... show more
